Dude, AI has been around for 74 years. Alan Turning wrote the seminal paper in 1950. We have come a long way from that, but self-correcting and innovative hardware is harder than you realize. Humans advance many times along thought lines because we can reason by analogy. A lot of undergrads went into software development in the 1980s-90s. Many of them dropped out when they realized how demanding the course load was, having never made it to a job! I watched that happen. Those now-time self-adjusting/healing/annealing software systems will be replaced because of human direction, not machine direction. Strap in.

If you have various small data center that are built cheaper and spread around that you have a smaller chance of sabatoge or possible weak points in data infrastructure.
