You forgot to mention that at the time paladins 2-Drops were insanely strong and competitive at the time. Aldor attendant was unplayable because it competed with cards like shotbot which completely blew it out of the park, while almost every paladin deck was often running 4-8 2 drops anyways

The game is great, the recent metas (imo) have not been. I try to limit my time on the game at the moment, hoping for better things with rotation.

3:04 not quite, when Aldor Attendant was buffed Paladin finally got a 1 mana card, but there wasn't enough 1 mana cards at the time, but you are correct that it got far from Scolomance onward

Wild fire was actually a nerf because it killed Even Mage, which is objectively a cooler deck than Hero Power Mage.

You can change stats and make it slightly better or worse but changing mana means you can or can’t use a combo, it’s so good. Also, I love Wildfire and Mordresh for my Ping Mage deck.

(1/8)^3 = 1/512. The actual statistic is a little lower because we have to account for the possibility that knife juggler kills one of the one health minions then hits one of the grim patrons, but that's too much math for me.

Sorcerer's Apprentice also saw a buff from a 2/2 to a 3/2 back in Beta. Not as big a change as some of the other Mage buffs, but it did mark a turning point from the card seeing decent play to being an auto-include in every Mage deck.

Honestly, I'm still annoyed that luna's pocket galaxy wasn't what that one community guess was. "Transform your deck into an infinite supply of random cards". It would have been so much more interesting. I also think you're forgetting the alpha buff where the shaman's healing totem no longer healed their hero... Then again, I've pretty much given up on hearthstone as a playable game at this point. It's a total mess and is only gonna get worse.

pretty obvious you weren't playing back in open beta, 4 mana buzzard/unleash combo was actually fine the way it was because hunter didn't have any other draw tools back then and this one could easily be countered by not zooing up the board. nerfing it to 5 was unnecessary imo but also not the end of the world, tagging on an extra 3 whole mana is just completely insane though. you mention this as if it was very much deserved, and it just wasn't? the only reason they nerfed buzzard this harshly was because of the consistency it brought to undertaker hunter during naxx, but in doing so they also nerfed other hunter archetypes (face/beast) that REALLY didn't need nerfing and were basically written out of the game by doing so. I don't care if you don't tell the entirety of a backstory on something but i'm pretty sure you can go without blatantly misrepresenting stuff like this.
