As someone who’s father was abusive when he was around and then later abandoned, hearing they way Gary interacts with Ethan and Donna is strangely calming. I suppose you don’t realise the things your missing in life until you see it, so I never thought I’d get this strange sense of serenity watching this but I really appreciate all three of you doing this.
