Evening all! Thanks for joining me for another episode… Tonight we’re going toe to toe with a distinct Canadian delicacy called a donair (which as far as I can tell is just a doner kebab) but not just any donair…oh no…a donair challenge that’s been around over a decade and is so big they call it The Donairosaurus Rex! I hope you enjoy it and I’ll see you again sooner than you think 😘 *Also, just by way of explanation to the newer subscribers, I noticed a few people in the comments section on the last video seemed confused and/or upset about the distance between the filming date and release date of new videos on the channel. To clarify, all my videos are shot a good two to three months before the date they’re actually published. I do this for a number of important reasons, but mostly so that if say I’m hit by a car tomorrow, or more likely Mrs Beard beats me unconscious with a stale garlic baguette, then the audience I value so much has stuff to watch for a good quarter year while I recover. I hope that makes some sense. Lots of love, you’re old chum BMF ❤️

The Canadian Donair was invented in Halifax NS and tastes very different from a doner kebab popular in much of the world. It's a very different thing that is typically a spiced beef meat with tomatoes, onion, occasionally cheese, and donair sauce on top. (evaporated milk, sugar and spices). It's a popular late night snack here on the east coast. No, it doesn't taste anything like a typical doner kebab, although it has similarities and was based off of them. PS, Beard I still want to see you try out A&W. IMO the best fast food place and amazing onion rings for a fast food joint.

Adam your charm and humour are in full force and you are undaunted by this challenge as usual. A lot of chewing a lot of food but you will beat this challenge. Nice to see you getting the support from those around you. You take the time to make those around you participate and enjoy your current endeavours. Always a pleasure Adam you rock👌👍👏👏🌟🌟🏆🏆💐💐

That sauce is to die for and it’s so simple as well just sweetened condensed milk and garlic powder goes so good with the savoury meat and strong onions

Adam, it must be a mind blow when you're half way around the other side of the world and a random person recognises you in a car park.

Congratulations on the new record. I'm glad that the pressure was positive for your performance and didn't hinder your success. You managed be a competitor, an entertainer, and one of the boys, that's talent. Keep on keeping on!

Love seeing you in my province, and my old home town! I think the *real* difference between a doner kebab and a Canadian donair is the sweet sauce....which it seems you enjoyed! Love your stuff, hope you come back to western Canada soon!
