As a small collector/seller I am finding breeding and selling anthurium germinated seeds as really awesome selling option. Very simple to ship, and you can price them fairly. Once you get the pollination down you can get quite large quantities of seeds!!

I'm not surprised at the implosion of the plant industry. It was sadly like a lot of things done during the pandemic a fad which turned into a weird investment. It reminded me of NFTs which drop out of the spot light just as quickly. If anything it allowed me ( and others) to get to know a wider range of plants. Although it frustrates me that so many plant shops are no longer around cause I really appreciaed the personal time I would get when I was there. You don't get that at the big box stores or when you buy it online.

isn´t best to have greenhouse in a area where is it humid and warm like Florida? You mentioned that one of the biggest cost is the shipping.... but isn´t the costumer that pays for the stuff shipped to their address?
