+Christopher Dieudonne unless they're genre subversive in combining a rock music sound with rap elements, which isn't really that uncommon nowadays. Some groups are even famous specifically for combining elements of 2 or more genres of music, like Gorillaz. Their first album especially was influenced heavily both by hip hop, trip hop and other rap genres AND elements of punk, grunge, rock and roll and 90s britpop (harkening back to the frontman's previous band Blur - who are a more grungy, infinitely better version of Oasis). Point being that the two can intersect so there is a place for rap artists in the R&RHoF.
