I have my new trail cam set at 5 MP. The picture dimensions are a little smaller than my old trail cam pics, I use them to make a reel so you can really see the difference. Is there a way to adjust the dimensions?

Can I simplify this like doni just only get cams that are 12 mp and less if a 32 mp is not really 32 ???

Hey Denny, good question. Some camera companies are charging more because the camera takes “higher resolution” pictures. Just keep that in mind when purchasing. If you have a camera that says it takes 32 mp photos, but you can adjust the resolution, run it on a lower MP setting and you’ll get better pictures.

Download a manual for whatever trail cam your thinking about purchasing and look for the Technical information part of the manual. Under that you will see sensor. 1 MP is 1 million pixels 3 mp is 3 million so on and so forth. What ever else they claim is simply pixels being added to a image for no reason at all and it's a sales gimmick.
