Hey there Jacob.... Have you ever keeping the volume set to max? I heard one of those YT'ers who post their action hear and always recommends to keep volume set to max for a 8.6% edge.. To me it sounds way to random and unlikely but i'm no high action player either, so what do I know.

Is Clark County, the city or state even thinking of legalizing prostitution on the strip?
@joejoe-bs6jq
@joejoe-bs6jq Жыл бұрын
@@dannydaw59 I can't answer that (I'm not a Vegas local, just visit enough). But, the Nevada law is that prostitution and brothels are legal in counties with under a certain population (the last I checked it was under 250,000 people). So, if you go one hour from Vegas into Pahrump - which is part of Nye county - the legal brothels exist right across the county line. But Clark County - which is where Vegas and Henderson are located - has well over that amount, so it's illegal. I think the same scenario exists for Reno (but you'd have to research that one). I'm not really sure why it's illegal in the counties it's illegal in, but I would guess it has more to do with attitudes and decorum than anything - a place where there's a big population is bound to have families and children and parents don't want their kids subjected to that as well as alcohol and prostitution don't mix (and in Nevada, alcohol and prostitution and relaxed gun laws don't mix), so it's better to make it illegal and shift it to a different county. Not sure if anyone else has answers for Danny or any thoughts here.
@professorvegas

@@dannydaw59 It's not on the radar in the foreseeable future. Legal brothels in Nye County are not that far away.

Love this video! I visited Las Vegas for the first time on a business trip back in January 2020. I didn’t know smoking cannabis in public was illegal. I literally walked out of the Flamingo one night and was standing on the sidewalk and there was a guy smoking a joint and talking to two police officers. They were just chatting it up and the dude offered the cop a puff. The two officers laughed and declined and told him be safe and have a good night and went on their way. Thus the confusion on my part with this law .

The only requirement that something is on the strip is that it is on Las Vegas Blvd. The rest is subjective. Westgate, Ellis Island, Palms, Rio, Orleans, Palace Station, all off-strip properties. I would consider the strip to go from the Strat on the north end to the Mandalay Bay complex on the south end.

It’s true about Macau. I lived in China/Hong Kong and I would take the fast boat to Macau. I stayed at the Venetian one time. The casino floor was so big that one of the people working there told me that below the casino floor was a gigantic basement/warehouse. So big you could park 100 - 747 jumbo jet planes. The Chinese love to gamble. Which is odd because most Chinese are frugal.

Prostitution is rampant in Las Vegas and yes, it is probably right outside your front door. The type of prostitution that is frowned on is the hooker on the street corner. As long as the escorts are dressed nice and don't break the simple laws of the land (like ripping off customers), no one interferes.
