Throw Techs became a thing in later SF2 versions cuz people who thought throws were cheap / busted (tbf, they were) complained so much to warranted a change during an era where you had to snail mail your complaints to a company

I’ve heard a pretty good suggestion for this, being that Kirby has decent air speed on the first jump but slows down to his current speed for the ones after. This can make him function closer to his base games and improve his approach/retreating aerials

@@illford Its been pretty much confirmed to be internal at this point. It would have gotten a C&D at some point but Smash 4 wasnt even close to being announced at this point. Someone on the team didn't want PM ruining their career and there was alot of pettiness internally.

Alright Coney I know you don’t know me and I don’t know you but I’ve gotta let you know: I know where you’re coming from with watching Stronger Than You on its own being weird, the same thing happened to me when it was a big thing and I didn’t know about the show, but you’ve gotta understand that’s one big event like 50 episodes into the show, it’s paying off on an emotional attachment you don’t have and a reveal you don’t have the context for. It blew up because it’s actually hype as hell in the actual show, but it’s the kind of good moment that comes about due to being the culmination of its own mini-arc of the show, not something that is just great on its own, so the cringe factor of it is coming from seeing it in isolation. Mileage may vary of course but in my opinion it’s actually a good-ass show, the whole deal with it is that the whole show is following Steven’s perspective, there’s no B-plots or anything like that, but that means you never have more information than Steven himself does, which leads to a really interesting vibe for learning about the world of the show. It’s also an interesting case of a show with a fairly relaxed pace allowing for a lot of character interaction that’s also widely considered as not really having filler, with every episode contributing something significant either to some plot line, general understanding of the world, or a character dynamic central to the show. (I would say there are two episodes that break this rule, but they make up for it by just generally being fun) Again, I’m some internet rando and nobody cares what I have to say, but it’s a very emotional show for me and people I care about so I’ve gotta vouch for it a little. Judging the show based on “the big moments” isn’t really fair here

I like smash 64 competitively since a game you can actually lab. If you try to lab combos in any other game, everything is fake. You do a combo in training mode in 64, that shit is real 99% of the time. Mainly since the only other way to learn is just to fight people for 100000 hours in a smash game, as you do.
