Love Wenhua! I used to go to one of the juice vendors for an amazing pumpkin milkshake. They also do avocado milkshakes. And down one of those sneaky alleys is a restaurant that does an incredible fish head soup. I was never able to remember how to get there again though.
@LukeMartin7 жыл бұрын
Yes that fish head soup is really famous! Thanks for watching all the videos Wes hope you get to come back again soon!
@loranlee25527 жыл бұрын
The fish head soup restaurant is called Lin Cong Ming(林聰明 砂鍋魚頭). I went there few times when I visit Chiayi and I like it. Very southern Taiwan style cuisine.

Luke Another Fabulous example to the Western world of fast food gone healthy style.Everything looked super delicious. Proves we can stop mass hamburgers and fries and actually nourish our body but still do fast food. BTW Luke this time i decided to wait to watch your video while having my lunch and I literally was drooling from your food more... lol.. However I was still knuckle biting when you showed the soup in detail. That was so yummy looking. 😃

Daikon radish is used a lot in soup dishes in Taiwan (and many other parts of East Asia). Not an ingredient you'd commonly see in beef noodle soup but you can definitely tell that it goes well with it. It'll easily soak up the flavor of the beef broth and become, as you'd call it, nice and juicy. Great video, really missing home!
@LukeMartin7 жыл бұрын

Thanks Luke, enjoy watching your videos! As a local people, I don't like the oyster omelet a lot. The oysters inside are always small and taste not quite juicy. A big part of the oyster omelet are starch and few vegetables... The whole dish would cost me some bucks so I prefer to have beef noodles, that's my favorite of all.
