Godziek had the ideal Rampage run in my eyes. Fast and exposed up top. The canyon backflip was perfect and the spin before was crazy! Long live the dual crown fork at rampage.

Kind of insane how they always overscore Semenuk's runs. All he ever does is the same old tricks while going slower than everyone else and riding smooth lines. At least they gave it to a big mountain guy for 2022, but Godziek has been robbed multiple times at Rampage.

Well, it was more important for judges to eat pizza instead of judging Godziek's run. Godziek is absolutely the winner. Extremely smooth run from up to the bottom. Manuals between vertical cliffs, nohander backflip, 360 TO DOUBLE DROP TO 75FT CANYON GAP BACKFLIP vs few tailwhips and backflips. It was so unfair. I mean, Rheeder did great run but only after Godziek run i went speechless. Rampage is about freeride, pushing extreme barriers even further and not about slopestyle. Rheeder did great slopestyle run, but Godziek showed true essence of what Redbull Rampage is. In my opinion, audience votes should be taken into account.

@@oRicardoHetfield Have you seen Godzieks & rheeders line on-site by yourself? So you are able to compare it? I bet you don’t. Have you ridden rampage before? I also doubt that. Whereas the judges talk to the riders, builders, scout every line & see the pure danger/insanity. Godzieks run was completely crazy, but it seems that rheeders line was more technical than his. Look at the top part of Godzieks line. Pretty „easy“ way on the ridge.

Crowd vote says it all. Godziek did something incredible out there. Plus he really threaded it together this time. I mean sure, all of the riders did huge runs out there this year. The style Semenuk and Rheeder are so enjoyable, but damn. They won it before already :P. We all know they ride Trek, Commencal or whatever... That manual at the top of Godziek's run was something different. I don't even want to imagine the possible consequences xD. These bikers have this once in a year chance to shine and while we can't have multiple 1st places... it seems really harsh on some of these guys. Judges keep on spoiling guys who bring more slopestyle to the game and basically a smaller bike with a huge bag of tricks and technique. So it kinda keeps on heading in that direction I guess. Reed did that huge flip off a drop which was soooo risky. We didn't see that rail thing one of the guys did and well... Judges also did an awfully good job of hurting Andreu with their scores. Again ._. Anyway. It was super exciting and scary to watch. Good job to all of the riders and their teams. Heart stopping.

Rampage was kinda "eh" this year. great riders and amazing competition but the outcome isn't to my liking, could be personal (I'm a big Semenuk fan but follow everyone) but i think this is how standings should've been. 1st. Godziek - The speed and control that he had throughout the whole run was exactly what an ideal rampage ride should look like. The consistency and amount of tricks were incredible. 2nd Semenuk - As always, Brandon was smooth and focused, and the start was just unreal. no one does it better then him in terms of smooth landings and mind boggling tricks. 3rd Rheeder - Rheeder did amazing but i was not as blown away or as impressed as i was with watching the other runs. However The backflip can and tailwhip over the 50 footer was gnarly. its hard to decide but i definitely think there could've been better calls and judging as some of the other riders like Jaxson Riddle for example had a heck of a run with so much flare and variation, and only got a 63 i believe. If you watched live you could see peoples faces, that was a bad call in my opinion. Over all though still an amazing event to watch, great job riders and everyone who worked hard to put it on! cant wait till 2023!

I think the judges don't vote for impression, but for course and tricks difficulty. And each effort add up. If Godziek and Semenuk did one more drop, or one more difficult trick on the drops thay did, they would have beaten Rheeder, who IMO should get few points less, but still wins

Insane. Beautiful. I would just honestly like to see little catch fences for these guys in case they really can't control their speed on that initial. Their lives are legit too important.

Ok, so just making sure I watched the same runs as everyone else. I realize Rheeder had a little more variation, but his run wasn't even close to as difficult, as smooth and as badass as Godziek. This shouldn't even have been close. He freaking 360'd into the canyon gap and slooow backflipped the gap. No question, Godziek won

What is going on with the judging at rampage? Godziek had an insane run, deserved first place for sure. At this point they should just make the people's choice award dictate the actual winner because there is no trusting the actual judges anymore

Probably that's why expert, ex professional riders are judging, not you :D it's not about the show, but about the difficulty of the course and the tricks made, and each challanging efforts add up. If you think that Godziek's 360 drop + canyon gap should be enough to beat every other rider, than you obviously don't respect the effort they've made. I've been watching Rampage for few years and always it was like that, the bigger drop - the greater score, the better trick on a big drop - the better score. Semenuk did 3 amazing drops and few pretty easy tricks beside that, Godziek same thing - 2 big drops + canyon gap, and few easier tricks, and finally Rheeder did 4 drops with a bunch of tricks. That's what counts in Rampage, so either get used to or stop watching :D

@@pokineusz3501 Jury mistakes are pretty common actually. Andreu 73 points is just ridiculous... Not disrespecting any riders, but doing a 360 while dropping into a backflip canyon gap is insane. Not enough to win, but taking the whole run together he should have won.
