You can get a lot more for that Hulk #1 if it doesn’t have chipping. GPA doesn’t account for the visual appeal of a book like Hulk #1, FF #1, or AF #15.

Awesome books Dave I do understand not wanting to sell them on November 1st 2015 I sold my collection to buy a house no joke I had ams 1 cgc 7.5 restored brave and bold 28 cgc 8.5 restored were the 2 big books I always figured I could get them again but that doesn’t seem feasible anymore no regrets though

Between this video and your video about selling your PC there are some absolutely EPIC books. Best of luck on the sales! Question though, after watching your videos...why did you go through CGC? Particularly after the scandal and having such strong opinions about their practices...I believe you mentioned your Dad is at CBCS...it is a conflict of interest issue? Obviously you don't owe me or viewers an explanation but I was incredibly curious especially after all of the CGC controversy and your strong opinions. Again, best of luck!!

Both companies have their pitfalls. No one company is perfect. I’ve been using cgc for nearly 15 years. Way before cbcs was even around.

My lcs has an avengers 1 $1500 and a X-Men 1 $3000 raw maybe a 1.5 and a 2.0 I wouldn't pay a $100 for them.... people are crazy paying this much for rotting paper....better off paying $5.99 for a reprint.

I take them out of the boxes to take pictures before hand to get them listed on my site. I do this every week. Get kinda boring to open a brown boxes every time. But ya it’s true. It’s techincally not a “unboxing”

My guess is he already purchased these and they were at CGC getting graded. That’s a crazy amount of inventory to have on hand though when cash flow is tight. Also, it’s only worth 50k if everything sells at the prices listed (minus fees too).
