Documentaries like this restore my faith in humanity. I have learned more than just about steroids; my main takeaway is how far the feeling of insecurity can push people. From now on, my main goal will be to master my mind to stop being susceptible to external triggers that could spark a cataclysmic chain of events like what have just seen.
@mcchristenson9 ай бұрын
Or just be a normal human being like you have been all your life? If you want to impress yourself and look in a mirror then take steroids. If your doing it to defend yourself go get a conceal and carry permit. If its for the chick's you won't find your solemate doing it. But what do you care if some person wants to jack up? Never met someone on steroids that was insecure. It was just a hobby.
@tbb7409 ай бұрын
Is it really insecurity though? or immaturity on your part? As terrifying as people skiing down a mountain which they fall off all the time? what about people riding motorcycles and dying everyday? People choosing to play football or do boxing? People choosing to smoke cigars? Life isn't all about being "safe". For most people, bodybuilding and weightlifting is a very fun hobby. I don't think you'd understand unless you had the hobby.

I've been on and off steroids for two decades now. And it's prescribed by my Drs. I have multiple serious physical injuries from being deployed 10 years in a row in combat zones by the U.S. Army, DoD and DoS. I was able to regain functions and get passed the pain even while on 100s of milligrams of all kinds of opiates to help me get through the pain.

What to say, live your life. I've lost 3 of my friends due to PED and was near the edge myself. Would I go through that again? Probably no.
