He eventually just stops even using Wooden Nickel in this video for quite a few rooms. You can't do that as The Keeper. I think that's when you can tell he kinda gave up for the time being. And I understand that, The Keeper is just brutal. I plan never to play The Keeper again after getting all the stuff finished! EDIT: He does get some good items and gets a bit revitalised, but still, when you stop using Wooden Nickel as The Keeper, you're psyched out and probably not going to win. Of course, no matter what as The Keeper, you're probably not going to win!

But whenever NL starts singing, everyone is like "the hell are you doing there, what on earth was that?" except for the fact that you only have a 2 hp cap as the keeper so after taking goathead he would have to hope for 1 hp drop per floor to get use out of goat head. Even then your putting yourself at serious risk since you now go from being able to take 2 hits from only a singular hit.

You totally can dig yourself out of a hole. You dig up diagonally from the bottom of the hole and make a ramp out. Or just on one side and use the excess dirt for the same purpose if the hole is big enough. The only problem really is making sure you don't cause a collapse by not clearing the roof of the ramp you're making if it is a deep hole.
