If your engine can run on biofuel, then you have a diesel engine. But biodiesel is still diesel fuel, it hasn't changed anything. They're taking vegetable oil and turning it into diesel fuel. There's nothing really "bio" about it once it's diesel. That being the case, your diesel engine can actually run on waste vegetable oil. You need a second tank for the vegetable oil, and it needs to be kept warm so it doesn't solidify on you (tank would either be inside of the vehicle to stay warm, or would have USB heat pads attached to the tank). You'd have a line switch to switch from diesel to vegetable oil and vegetable oil to diesel. Start the vehicle on diesel, then switch to vegetable oil. Switch back to diesel before shutting off the engine so there's diesel in the line. A tank of diesel will last a long time that way. And the vegetable oil is free, as nearly every fast food place has a grease trap out back to dump the used oil in. You just have to filter it. Running on vegetable oil will also save you a lot of money on oil for your vehicle.

If you use the palm tree bio fuel to power the equipment to turn palm trees into bio fuel, how much bio fuel is left over to sell? No one ever talks about how much energy it takes to make bio-diesel.
