The thing about food and stuff during business gatherings, the thing is most Muslims here in the west are coming from cultures/perspectives where they really don’t spend a lot of money on food and entertainment, that’s why even the gatherings in the Islamic centers are extremely far from anything that would be considered posh or fine dining. “Expensive smoothies“ is an acquired taste that is usually at a much higher price point than the average south Asian or Arab or Persian is generally willing to pay for food/entertainment. And FYI, college is not really for making money colleges for cultural enrichment. If you’re from a poor family college isn’t really gonna change that, unless you’re like a convert who meets a Saudi when you’re in college and you get married and go teach the girls in Riyadh about Girl Scouts. And as far as going bust by giving too much charity, yeah that’s a reality, these Islamic centers definitely aren’t going to help you if you end up destitute and by yourself, you’ll be told to go and leave your days in the nursing home and pray.

A biography could be about someone that is still living or about someone who was deceased many years ago. Satan is not technically “alive,” but I understand your question. This topic needed to be addressed and well understood, especially since people fight against each other a lot, we need to focus on the one who is actually our enemy (not people), but Satan.

بقای حیات تمامی موجودات زمین و از جمله انسان، ناشی ازاین نفس قدسی آسمان احاطه شده در اطراف زمین است که انسان آن را چون هوا خوانش کرد، و به لحاظ جاودانه بودن نفس قدسی خود، برتمامی موجودات خود، قدرت اراده تولید مثل داد و نیزبا وجود منطق توان تولید و مثل داده شده به موجودات خود، در حیات موجودات خود مرگ را نیز مقرر ساخت و مرگ را پایان، حیات بخش حیات نخواند و نیز در نفس قدسی خود، توانایی جنبش چند قطبی را برای حیات تمامی موجودات خود روا داشت که سبب جنبش حیات موجودات باشد. مانند : خوب و بد ، زشت و زیبا ، نر و ماده ، تیره و روشن ، فرشته و شیطان ، نرم و خشن. تمامی موجودات به جز انسان، حیات جبر داد ولی با توجه به شکل ساختاری انسان نه تنها به انسان حیات جبرداد بلکه به انسان اراده حیات را نیز به او بخشید و همین توجه خاص آفرینده به انسان، مرز انسان با سایر موجودات را تفکیک ساخت. و این نوع ساختارآفرینش اتفاقی نبوده است و انسان آخرین موجود آفرینش است.

Your continuous reference to Ahul Bayt and prioritising their importance makes no sense. The entire Shia ideology is based upon producing evidence to justify their prioritising Imam Ali and Ahul Bayt. I listened to your justification of being a Shia and it was entirely based upon YOUR opinion about certain authentic hadiths and historic events. I could equally provide evidence and my opinion about, for example, Abu Bakar and historic events and start a sect that prioritises him above the other companions. For example, I believe the Prophet (pbuh) is quoted as saying that if Allah (SWT) made another human a prophet then He would have selected Abu Bakar. I could use this and prioritise Abu Bakar over the other Companions and start a new sect of Islam. Therefore a man made position. All the Companions are equal in status and prioritising Imam Ali and always invoking prayer for him whenever you start any of your lectures is your view. Why do you not always invoke prayers upon all the Companions in equal measure? Your prioritisation of Imam Ali is man made and is the one aspect of Islam that to me makes no sense. Islam is simple and everything appeals to our common sense. Prioritising one Companion over the others breaks this common sense rule.

If all Companions are of equal status, why did the Prophet only bring Imam Ali to the Christians’ Mubailah? Why did the prophet choose Ali alone to marry his daughter, rejecting all the other companions’ proposals? Why did Abu Bakr OPPOSE Lady Fatima in court, whereas Ali ibn Abi Talib did no such thing? Have you even read the full text of the Ghadeer Sermon yet?
