I was introduced to the BPS model at a family therapy session for my mum. It was very helpful. There's different variations of it, you'll see on Google - a couple of things that might need adding are "Age" to bio and "Cultural background" to social. Because let me just say in my life and work, those two aspects are definitely factors for everybody and it's interesting but also dangerous when things go awry. And no it's not "ageism" to list that as a factor. Age always has a bearing on things and a context to well being of course - whether we like it or not. And cultural background also presents challenges particularly if for example like in some my life history, you perhaps spend a little too much time with friends who aren't really "friends" from a different cultural background. I'm sure you all understand me there.

@@tinkerbelle75 lOLZZ, do you mean he has mistaken BPD for BPS? BPS is BioPsychosocial approach/model, a terminology in psychotherapy and counselling psychology. Look it up!
