I got to play Super Mario Bros. 3 with the Black Dahlia Murder backstage after they played in Omaha when they were touring after they released the Nocturnal album. They were such cool guys. Cool enough to invite everyone to come party afterwards. Still love and support them need to see them again.

I've never heard this band's music before, but now knowing that one of the members is a fan of old Nintendo, I'm definitely gonna check 'em out. I still play NES games sometimes. Tried Dragon Quest last year. Didn't get anywhere close to the end, but I did enjoy it, despite my lack of interest in grindy RPGs.

I think Super Mario Bros. 3 is an obligated top 5 NES game. That thing was huge for the moment. It's actually THE platformer that cemented the genre forever even further than the obvious Super Mario debut game.
