this song still is and always will be their best song. its really a testament to everything the black keys represent
@CGP_Films9213 жыл бұрын
i'm glad they still play a mix of their old and new songs at their concerts. They haven't forgotten their roots...which is more than I can say for a whole lot of today's modern rock artists. The Black Keys are the sole inspiration for a hopeless music industry.

I’m confused by his statement, since this song was only 3 years old at the time he made this comment, and it was on their first successful album. Before that they got silver on Magic Potion, but this album went gold.

Probably my favorite Black Keys song. That riff is so evil, grand, awesome.......Sounds like something Black Sabbath could have wrote in the 60's.

Intense, passion and soul. No gimmicks. Jack White wanted to get back to basics and it worked. The Black Keys are kicking it up a notch.

I just seen them Tuesday in London and it was amazing!!!! Loved ever second of it! They played this as their final number...or so they thought...we got an encore outta them and got 2 more songs! Truly amazing how much power stripped down hard blues has. Black Keys Rock!

The entire riff involves an open E-string, most of their songs do infact. This sort of.. mimics having some bass to it. Sounds great.

@vvholigan Holynutsack is right, They were inspired by the Delta Blues (My favorite kind), they use the same equipment, and they both work in a small box with lots of pressure when they record. They black Keys have a more traditional blues approach, but both bands are amazing, and are pushing music forward, in a backwards direction.

The Keys have been a force every since they were signed by Fat Possum. They are just guys that have good musical taste and reproduce something emulating their good taste. There are always going to be people that like awful and worthless music. I don't think any revolution will fix that. It's just good to know there is a band like this out there.

Alot of old blues songs were made without certain instruments or aspects. If they like their own sound, and the fans like it, leave 'em be. Some of their songs are centered around a bass guitar, and others around a keyboard. Gosh, people always gotta hate instead of just enjoying good music.
