I like the fact that your stats will reset with each prestige with a career stat also being in the game. It's a visual representation of your progression. 1.0 in prestige 1, 1.8 in 2 etc etc etc for example

And......? How is it a pay to win anyways? First, you have a choice to prestige. You don't have to ( i mean it would be dumb if you never do but whatever ). Second, it's not like in a match you're going to be up against everyone at an equal level. You'll always be playing against players that are at different levels than you. So where's the pay to win? If i pay for a skin that gets me a weapon unlocked permantly does that mean in my next match I will have the upper hand cause nobody else will have that weapon...... nope. One downside to classic prestige is that later unlocks mostly dont get used as much as early unlocks. An upgrade imo would be randomizing the unlocks from the custom unlock level (lvl 5?)

The keeping the weapon progress after prestige is awesome. I like it. Could there also be an additional attachment to unlock for each weapon or something in each prestige. Or maybe just a few prestige’s maybe not all of them? For example…. “No way you got the prestige 5 barrel for the Ak already. Touch grass buddy” ? I don’t think it should unlock right away. You maybe have to “level the weapon up” a little more or something??

I just realized what would be the best thing to unlock if you have decently or max level weapons and reach Prestige 1. If there's a Prestige Token or Prestige Shop,then instead of using it for a weapon or equipment unlock,it would be best to unlock one of the Wildcards like Gunfighter or Greed My point is : The biggest benefit against other players is far more impactful because it means you have an advantage that isn't hard locked to a weapon but rather a core player ability that affects any loadout or enemy weapon you pick up/use. Now,of course perma unlocking Ghost or Ninja is also a solid choice. In CoD games since CoD4 MW (2007) all the way to BO4 (2018) allowed Prestige tokens,Prestige Calling Cards for entering a Prestige. *Ghosts was different, but 2019 is when it all truly changed. If they use that og system,then I believe its a win,let the players choose right and wrong,thats the way it should be

The blueprint can be permanently unlocked but the base gun and other attachments should be locked just like it was in the beta. Every attachment for a 30lvl, 40lvl or 50 lvl gun shouldn't all be unlocked. That gives too much power to buying advances the grind too much. This is why people are pissed 2XP tokens aren't being transferred over.

The cool thing about Ghosts was you could go back to a level 60 character anytime you wanted between games. If you were prestige 5 level 30 for example but didn't have enough squad points to unlock a new gun, you can go back to your prestige 4 level 60 character that you have the unlocks on and use it that way. Always used to do that.

The combat record is just an extra and useless way to do it, just leave the all-time record and that's it. My KD ratio is horrible as I grind camos, this time it was 0.98 when I got Interstellar and slowly, I've been increasing it to a 1.22 and I only play like 3-4 hours weekly.
