Been with my girl for a little over a year now. She’s 25, i’m 24, this is her first relationship she’s been in. Things were stale for a bit, and we’ve almost broken up a few times. I started listening to Patrice on o&a then Black Phillip - our relationship is better than ever after a few months of studying. I’ve been learning that i need to be more honest in my communication approach and she’s becoming hip to the game that she has to try to keep me interested. Proud to say that my student is earning her karate belts lol - thank you Patrice for all you’ve done to help the fellas out. RIP to the greatest

@normalguycap3 жыл бұрын
Jeff is like the evil vizier whispering in the sultan's ear. Discussing Jeff's philosophy is important for the show. Jeff's "technique" is a doubletalking refined nice guy act. His words are all about enabling women (to their detriment), focusing on them, to make them feel special and, as we know from this show, women write, star, and direct their own movie in their heads and Jeff plays into that, their ego. It would kill his game to discuss what he does in straight terms and that's why he and his women avoid it like a plague. There is a filter on their relationship. The woman don't know it's there and Jeff will not break that "aura" for an instant. He even covers his failures by saying "I wouldn't say it to them. They weren't meant to hear it." He is on the cusp of simping but manages to avoid it. Jeff's words consistently consist of throwing other men under the bus to make himself look better. He ascends, not by being good himself, but by bringing other men down. As Patrice says, he's a rogue, not a team player. Jeff is "every man for himself" and cloaks it in doubletalk. Jeff has most certainly infiltrated the enemy and like an evil vizier, he whispers to women by making them feel special and putting others down to get what he wants. He preys on them this way. He is also a hypocrite because he would never say a compliment to a man like he does to the random women he approaches for potential eventual sex. He said somewhere in the first hour that he believes one should say something good to another person when they feel it. Don't keep compliments a secret, basically. I call him a doubletalking hypocrite (his problems with 'seduce', problems with saying 'pussy', he makes hasty generalizations) because he would never do that for a man who couldn't help him in some way like the guys on the show here. He's not consistent, very fake, very shallow, and very selfish. I don't think Jeff actually gets pussy. Because he won't share a sliver of action on the radio show and even Ivy said that's not what really happens. Can't break that filter, that facade. Jeff is like a typical woman. He even used the typical insult of "bitter, lonely, angry men". Jeff is probably projecting as he goes to bat for women. It's also very tricky because if you disagree with Jeff without Patrice's acumen, you look like you're dissing women.

@normalguycap3 жыл бұрын
@@justme-kr7lx Yeah, I feel the same way. It's a struggle to get through an episode featuring Jeff even with Patrice. Jeff, might evade the creep label on a technical level, because of the circle's he's in and how much they care about stylish appearances, but all us dudes know he's a creep. He's a walking, talking, romance novel who constantly throws men under the bus to advance himself. Jeff has managed to be completely unlikable to half the gender spectrum.

RIP to Patrice o'neal and Erica Watson. I know we as men dislike the shit Erica was trying to push in this episode and we should recognize it as horseshit. But a lot of the women did Patrice a great favor by being on the show and being...well women. This gave Patrice the opportunity for the male audience to see women in their natural state. I don't hate any of the women Patrice brought on and when he died I seen them give Patrice his flowers (Karith and Erica at least) and I'm glad he was able to show us what he showed us with them being his punching bag. RIP Erica 🙏🏿 she was a decent comic and helped make this episode the epic it was. And as always RIP Patrice, a once in a lifetime kinda man. You've helped me and so many with your wise words. I hope many men find this episode and give both Patrice and Erica their flowers.

My question is, if Jeffrey didn't have the things he has and the businesses and fun fashion parties and hang with celebrities, would his style still work. Because of all the things I listed
@abstractnonsense32536 жыл бұрын
Power comes from strength and skill. Patrice was about strength, Jeff about skill, and Dante ballanced both. I really recomend listening to the Jeff episodes very carefully because there's a lot of sugar coated knowledge there. The strip club conversation after a caller bashes Jeff (1:49:10) is a perfect example of this. It's here that he explains the power of beauty vs power of pussy.
@kdworak47546 жыл бұрын
Phillip Pitts I totally agree. Jeffs is essentially a friend to these women and by sheer numbers he probably gets laid. Maybe they fuck him just to compete. Patrice simply uses nature from the very start. Perfect example is the 40 yr old describing her tattoos. And Patrice said he immediately got that feeling of STFU bitch. Even if it wasn't horse shit. I got the same feeling! Because in that situation/moment there was no need for all that Horse shit. And when u put a woman in her place and she realises how fucking right u r and that she was spouting Horse shit, shes yours.

The first time you listen to this episode you dislike Jeff but the more you listen, the more it makes sense. He's righteous to his style. He has the perfect style to bag the artist/model/creative type. He plays right into what they want to be. He's manipulative because he knows what he wants but he delivers it in a way to make them think that it's what they want. He stays loyal to his style and doesn't fold but he slipped a couple times in this episode and exposed himself a bit. When he knew the words to AMG and followed that up with his stripper stance, it subtly exposed that, while his style is true to him, at the end of the day it's game. Patrice is upfront with his style. It's not disguised at all. Conversely, Jeff is like Ric Flair in that he's living his gimmick. He hid himself in the game so long that it has become who he is but, if pushed, he will expose himself. Jeff was annoying at first but was a great addition to add a different perspective to the show.

1:19:51 Patrice is so aware that identity is socially defined. We have societally left the stratosphere on that issue here in the late 2010s/early 2020s where self ID is so encouraged that everyone is getting mentally ill. Personality is an evolutionarily manifested relationship to goals more than it is a thing in and of itself. Patrice was great at seeing into the utilitarian depths of social and sexual order. You can feel his frustration with people like Jeffrey who prefers to live in flirtatious mystery. I'm not sure if it's necessarily wrong, but Patrice observes it to be deceptive. I think I agree with Patrice. There's a self-deception that reminds me of non-binary identities here in 2024 for example. The thing is, too - to accept identities as things that are affected by non-solipsistic conditions - that serve certain purposes socially - that are not entirely down to our own will - like what Patrice is saying about women's personalities - is to have the opportunity to flourish in accordance with what our evolutionary biological patterned selves have encoded for us to access. You're giving into a higher purpose basically that is outside of your limited self conception and that will ultimately make you happier. Better than racing to be the most mysterious person in the room or on social media. We have taken that game to absurd levels here in 2024. And I think it makes people feel hollow.
