You know what these shows do? Entertain from start to finish. We seem to have forgotten how to do that now. From a short Busby Berkeley sequence via The Wizard of Oz to There's No Business Like Show Business. Fantastic.

Elizabeth Lax or Liz Lax was one of the Television Toppers. She was also an actress and appeared in a few episodes of Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads as Bob's secretary and also in an episode of Z Cars.

I remember being creeped out by the guy dressed as a fairy. He really scared me. None of the other minstrels did except him😂.

@@alexcampbell3032 A small number were though whether they were part of the TV or the Stage Troupes I'm not sure, in the Timeshift documentary it also shows news footage of black women auditioning to join the Toppers, though none passed the trial.
