Just a thought. I ordered a Raven but had him not put on the tip. The end diameter without the tip is 5/16 inch. I then glued on a 5/16 inch target arrow tip. Then I bought a smaller spike rubber tip for hard surfaces. Now it is good for walking on ice or self defense.

Just got mine today. It is PHENOMENAL. Until it’s in your hand you don’t realize how perfect & awesome it is. Added some grip tape up top & another section down in the lower third for added grip & control. Getting hit with either end is GONNA HURT! Also added a rubber 5/8” cane tip (has a metal washer inside) for more traction on slicker surfaces - used just a touch of super glue on inside of rubber tip.

Love the Mjolnir on the pendant and shirt! Skal! I like the similar device by TRS myself, and quite frankly, I would never buy anything from a Campbell. It's a MacDonald/Glencoe Massacre thing.

Bought one this summer, in January I needed it after I twisted my knee, so I could use it as a walking aid and for practice. Since I walk my dog I need a one hand usable stick and the cold steel polypropylene sticks are too heavy. But I was indeed amazed by the speed of the blackswift raven. I smashed it against some dead trees, no damage to be seen. I usually use it as a substitute for a bokken when in nature to train some moves. I am gonna wrap it with paracord and indeed the tip is dangerous on smooth surfaces. Love your videos.

Great Review, Guro Joel! I own both the Blackswift Raven and the Raptor walking sticks and they about the best-balanced Stick I've ever swung. A super strong and very light stick, I can swing this Cane faster than any other walking stick or cane I own, and I have several! And in your hand, Guro Joel the stick is 100% Deadly!

I mean honestly after you said fiberglass all I could think about was a REALLY FAT THICK FISHING ROD! I know how much fishing rods can hurt.

Wrapped mine with the wrap used for bats and tennis rackets. And I put a regular cane tip on the end. Then I used small ranger bands to make sure the rapping does note come loose at the end and it adds to the impact during strikes. I also used a band to help secure the lanyard and rap against the ball. You don’t want to get whacked with my stick!

@@immanuelchrist7482 I tried to attach a picture, but will do a little short instead.
I have several cold steel sticks. None of them are equal to this one.

What is the training dummy with red “ears” at about 2:25 or so? I have never seen one like that before.
@JoelHuncar9 ай бұрын
It’s just a training dummy that has been so ripped up that it is more duct tape than dummy now… so I put some old head gear in it because it looked a little better with the head gear on.

Pretty much, but not flexible, and you can use it as a mobility aid.
