This is all about the fun! It's a force that makes perfect sense, even though they would never let you play this at a GW event (which I have no desire ever to do) Militarum players get exhausted from constant nerfs and sell their armies all the time. A simple re-paint and you'll have a brand new force to keep your Chaos forces from getting stale.

There is epic tale of a Blood Pact Death Brigade sniper’s battle with Imperial Guard Master-Sniper Sgt. Hlaine “Mad” Larkin from the Tanith “First & Only” regiment during the brigades assassination mission in one of the books from the Gaunts Ghost Series by Dan Abnett (pretty sure its in Blood Pact). The only part of his body that wasn’t completely ritualistically scarred was his trigger finger, which he kept pressed against the palm of his hand to protect it & the only thing he would use it for was pulling the trigger of his sniper variant long las rifle when making a kill shot.
