I love the sweater your wearing, it looks so cozy and the color is soft and pretty. I do use toothbrushes for various cleaning jobs around the house. I loved your story, it reminded me of a story. I took lunch to my Husband at work, we had a lovely time eating and chatting, at the time I was wearing a retainer and I had taken it out to eat...well it got wrapped up with the luncheon trash and he tossed it on his way back inside. I drove the hour back home and when I got there I discovered the retainer was missing and couldn't find it any where, then it dawned on me what must have happened...I had to call him at work and tell him. He was a sweetheart and went out digging in the trash and found them. Thank you for a lovely visit today, take care.

I can only imagine the time and energy it takes to produce one of these podcasts and appreciate that people like you do them! I honestly don't know how you manage with being a busy mom of four AND running a farm. Thank you for your efforts!! I like the story segment you've added - very entertaining 🙂

I absolutely have a toothbrush for cleaning! And everytime I go to the dentist for cleaning and I get a new toothbrush I replace the "yucky" scrubber one with my recently old one. So glad I can relate to your 'Spin Me A Yarn' story! You made me smile, thanks!

So! When you showed your cardigan wip and talked about all the colours, I wanted to point out how complimentary it was to your dark hair and pink lips. And it also made your blue eyes pop. So in that respect, stepping back to see what those colours do for you is really beautiful.

Yep, got one I keep for the bathroom taps. Luckily, I've not flushed anything daft...vacuuming is a different story! Henry sounds like a real piece of work, no wonder the other hens didn't like him. I'm loving all the inspiration and the story telling 🥰

You are definitely an amazing lady. It’s so incredible how you are able to juggle farming, family and designing. Thank you so much for making this podcast. I’m anxious to purchase the Lennox. It’s gorgeous. I’m just crazy Christmas knitting presently. I can’t wait to see you again!

It was great to catch up with you. I love your stories! I don’t have a cleaning toothbrush, but I think I might start one the next time I clean my windows. Take care!

Thanks for sharing. I think the moral of the toothbrush story is- don’t clean your windows. As interesting as it would be to see where you live, i agree your family’s privacy and security are more important.

I have cleaning toothbrushes everywhere ! I am so lucky that I only work casually and can spend lots of time on my knitting. I love your videos with scenery and your animals. Thank you

Lovely episode :) I regularly loose my used toothbrushes to my husbands miniature painting hobby 😅 Usually if I need one for cleaning, I can’t find the original cleaning one, and just decide that my toothbrush can do with a refresh 😂

I too, wish I had unlimited resources to knit all the things!! i just used a toothbrush to get all the gunk out of the washing machine soap dispenser. It's a very useful tool!

I really enjoyed your stories and your knits today. I think your garter sweater is gorgeous, but I understand that it’s too stripey for you. I grew up with chickens and I think the whole process is such a good learning experience for children-both the pet and the butchering aspect. (Also, we had a mean rooster who beat me up when I was four and he became chicken and dumplings 😂)

Hello Anna, nice podcast! I am looking to buy interchangeable circular needles. I would be curious to know the ones you have, your preference and recommandations for beginners. Thanks!
@thebluebirdbox2 жыл бұрын
Hello! My favourites (by far) are Chiaogoo interchangeable needles. I have the TWIST red lace 5" and also the TWIST blue shorties 2" & 3", but they are quite expensive! I used KnitPicks wooden interchangeable for the first 15 years of my knitting and they are good for the price.

You have to understand that test knitters volunteer to knit yr designs, they get much from the challenge and excitement and you have to stop beating yrself up over and over about it. I Love test knitting for designers. It's fin and far fro paying for the yarn ourselves, we're really just making ourselves another garment and the pattern was free!!! We CHOOSE YR GARMENT because we think it will look good on us. This isnt a one way thing. It's win win for both! :-)

That is wonderful to hear! I can’t produce patterns without testers and I feel so blessed to have them on my team 😄
