So, what do the words mean? The KATY was the MKT- Missouri, Kansas and Texas- Railroad. It was noted as being a fast coal driven passenger train in the late teens and early 1920's until it was bought up by the Union Pacific RR. So, his woman caught the fast train, but he "caught a mule to ride". A "mule" was a slow freight train that you could catch on foot, so he "swung on behind".
@bonjourclash59032 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for these explanations ! For long I believed that she had left with the couple's pet cat... Apart from that, could it be that the mule would be a slang word for their old car ? Kind of poetic opposition between the pet that they both loved and the useless junk car... What do I know...

I wish so too. But you know I think he should take over his brother John's role of jake in Blues brothers 2000. Wouldn't you like it if he did?
@chibang4923 жыл бұрын
@@1997calvert Although there will never be another John Belishi, his brother James is the next best thing, and he is also funny and even looked alot like him during the time they made the sequel. I think I read somewhere a while back that he was asked to reprise his brothers roll but he turned it down because he didn't want to dishonor or tarnish his brothers version of the Jake Blues character which is understandable. He felt his brother built and created the Jake Blues character and that if he wasnt alive to play it then noone else should, code of honor.. James definitely honored and respected his brother and his brothers Jake Belushi character is legendary and so iconic and belonged solely to John. When Jim turned down the role, the producers changed the script to be more of a tribute and honor to his memory instead.
@1997calvert2 жыл бұрын
@@chibang492 That's too bad. I don't think he should turn down his brothers character role in Blues Brothers 2000. I'd love to see Jim carry on the old Belushi Aykroyd team, just like Brian Henson carried on the Jim Henson company. In fact I thought of some movies that should have been made and that Jim and Dan should star in together: 1 World War Rescuers (in 1986) 2 Animal House Family Vacation (in 1990) 3 The Tiny Toon Adventures Movie (in 1998) 4 Blues Brothers The Revenge (in 1999) Which movie would you love to see if they were made?
