What’s happening in this The Blues Brothers movie clip?
Jake and Elwood hastily make their way to the Cook County Assessor's Office, barring doors and sabotaging an elevator on the way. Hundreds of troops are in pursuit. In the assessor's office they grab the clerk and give him the money to pay the taxes. The moment the tax receipt is handed to them they are handcuffed, surrounded by countless troops with pointed firearms. The film closes with the Blues Brothers and their Band playing their next concert in prison, beginning with "Jailhouse Rock".

What’s the movie The Blues Brothers about?
Jake Blues (John Belushi from National Lampoon's Animal House) decides to re-form his music group with his brother Elwood (Dan Aykroyd from Ghostbusters). They want to raise money to save the orphanage where they were raised.

@@DocRockBaby of the trumpet playing, probably not as that was in the 80's, and though video probably could be found, I doubt anyone who has it would be posting it. As for the bagpipes, I'm sure there is, but I only played with a law enforcement pipe and drum band ( I'm no where good enough to solo it ). Reason #1: Jaws (1975) opened with a record box office weekend, topped $100m in the first 60 days, and passed The Godfather as the highest grossing US film in 78 days; 3 Academy Awards. Jaws held the top spot until Star Wars in 1977. Reason #2: Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), most successful film for Columbia Pictures as of that time; 2 Academy Awards. He was quite well known and well respected in 1980. More than enough so to make the appearance awesome and special.
