I own a GoldStar and being a big single its a totally different experience to a twin, the engine is a beaut and I've had it since the 1st of March with no mechanical issues whatsoever. I did own, a few years back, an air cooled bonnie but had a few issues with it and battery problems so sold it.

Two really great bikes which 11 months later are now two heavily discounted great bikes. Now might be a good time to revisit and test the same two models of bikes again with a mind to buying. Try a CL500 without the optional extras fitted with the standard black low seat against a base model goldstar. The cl500 you tested had the optional high seat. You could almost get three bikes for the price you paid for the triumph now....

Hi have to say for me it would be the Triumph all day long but if you already have a couple of big torquey twins in the garage as well as the Bonnie's then these bikes would make great plodders for those country lanes for that relaxed easy no rush ride now and again these are bikes for bimbling with a nice measure of pull I think but I have never ridden either .😉👌👍nice one guy's

Now being a very happy triumph rider after lots of miles on my previous Indians I think the Triumphs really do make a great motorcycle, so would definitely keep them. Episode 12 looks interesting 🤢 ⛴️ 😂
