I'm currently re-learning the full startup procedure before doing BMS proper and the way I did my cockpit familiarization was to use Chuck's guide as my main source but cross referenced with the BMS 4.37 checklist and training guide document in order to learn the procedures in the exact order that BMS recommends. He really went the extra mile by including all the pre-start and post-start checks even if almost none of them currently have any purpose in DCS. For context: I haven't touched the Viper ever since I dropped it back in 2021 after playing the DCS module for just about a month. It was so barebones back then that I immediately started feeling "hollow" the moment I tried doing combat training in it. I've been a Hornet pilot ever since.

Yes take it slow. Do a few things at a time and don't take on too many tasks at once because it will become overwhelming.

I read the -34 front to back once while at school cause class was boring me lol Edit: will you be doing a video on the ECM update? The training manual is basically a 'dipping your toes in the water' kinda guide; good to have open while flying the respective missions

I recently bought this a few days ago for a good $6.00 and I am blown away with how you get thrown into the plane without knowing what the controls are. I currently use keyboard, so coming from DCS, I am familiar a little bit with DCS layout from the F16 module. This is mind boggling with lots of things to learn and remember, I like how DCS has that chuck guide where it will guide u to the buttons and what keyboard button to press, but this though definitely gives you the real fighter pilot simulation feeling and that I definitely like. Is there any manuals that has the short keys layout or no? This is definitely gonna take me awhile to learn cuz I haven’t gotten the bird up into the air yet

Thank you for being involved with advancing the marvelous Falcon4/BMS sim. I bought it back when it came out, but never really came to grips with it. So, I'm a noob still. But since I still own the sim and the binder, I'd like to know if you think the binder is still relevant? Thank you again for what you do for fans of this rare gem.

I couldn't find anything about how to change back the kneeboard to the checklists once I used the WDP one. Could you help me with that please?

WDP has its own selection of kneeboard pages. When you update your kneeboard it overwrites the old kneeboard files

What is BMS?

There is a button underneath the theatre selection in the launcher that opens the folder up its pretty hard to miss.
