What a great collection there. Some you rarely see in the UK now and some you never see. We had a Ford Tunas Estate V6 back in the day. We bought it from a DJ, English but worked in Denmark I think. The brake Servo had sprung a leak, I got one from a Granada and slightly modified the inner wing to get it to fit, job done! They are solid cars with much thicker metal than our Fords. I love all the old Mercedes in this collection and being Germany you would expect to see a good number. Thanks to Oliver for sending the collection and thanks to you Rick for preparing it to show us. 👍👍

What a great post of so many vehicles I have never seen in my 70+ years of life! My favorites are the Peugeot 504's and 304 Convertible. Very good lines and rare. The DAF 55 was interesting as I have never seen one. I remember the CVT transmissions being their claim to fame and now my son has a 21st Century Nissan with one. I was also partial to those German Taunuses (Tauni?) of the late 60's early 70's. It's interesting to see the heavy American influence on the German Fords and Opels (GM). Great stuff in general.

Hi Rick - I'd forgotten what fun these types of videos are - please can you compile some more for us. So many interesting vehicles here - I particularly liked that Drop Head Skoda, and the Borgward Isabella. Of course Oliver has to be thanked for sending you these photographs to show us, but thank you too for taking the time to sort them into this video. Many thanks Rick. Take care 🙂

Great photos❗️ THANK YOU ,OLIVER. 09:25- red Opel body looks VERY much like a slightly shrunk 1964-1965 Chevy Malibu. [ American styling 100%]. 14:24- 1967 Plymouth Belvedere Station Wagon. 21:39- Skoda. They were actually imported to here , North America, 1959, but they had major quality issues, and the dealers had to almost rebuild each one by hand. A shame. I really like the styling. 42:14. Surprised to see the Geo Metro. I don’t remember the last time I time I saw one, even here in the U.S. The convertible is even more rare. Suzuki Swift. 📻🙂

Good images of a variety of different vechiles. I remember and like very much the DKW Auto Union 1000 on the roads here in New Zealand. I also like the Volkswagon K 70 too from the 1970s. I skimmed through the video , and enjoyed what I viewed.

What a great collection of photos RJ, many of the cars I have not even heard of before never mind seen. I am planning to visit a few car shows with my car club this year so I may see you at one of them sometime. There are a couple of large car events up here in God's own country , Beamish and two shows at Ushaw in Durham.

Hello Rick, that huge fire engine at 17:50 is a Robur, not quite sure the model but it was very popular in East Germany from the late 40s to early 90s

The Renault 16 looked very smart. IMO a stylish, yet practical car. Don't know how reliable or rust-free they were. Very rare on UK roads now, perhaps for those rerasons?

I remember the Scirocco but I don't remember a coupe version of the early Passat.
