You'd mentioned a few of these verses before in a reply and they definitely resonate more now. Whole video was entirely engaging. Thank you as always and many blessings

Keep doing what you're doing man. These videos help me so much since I've been having issues with my faith in general for the last couple of years. I kept looking on KZbin for preachers to teach me but alot of what was said was based on opinion and denominational bias. It just made me more confused and I felt like I was losing my salvation (before I learned you couldn't lol). I'm not 100% back to where I was yet but you're helping me alot with these videos that are so easy to digest and are based on the bible and not your personal opinion. Keep it up man, God bless🙏 P.s: Ever considered doing a bible study on Twitch ? I'd love to see that.

So glad to hear! Yeah don’t be condemned thinking you aren’t saved. Salvation is only lost when people renounce their faith or turn away from Jesus. It’s when they truly don’t believe He is their savior anymore. A good example is Judas, a man who walked with Jesus and believed in Him, but turned away from Him for his own personal gain. The simple fact you and I question it and wonder means that we are saved & believe in Jesus as our Lord. As far as Twitch goes, I’m still praying about it. I definitely don’t want to exhaust myself again, but I truly enjoy doing this and would love to talk to people live about things, I believe it could bring a lot of clarity in situations, but we shall see ❤️

Good vid for bringing the Book of Job to attention. The fact that the BoJ doesn't fascinate people more is mindboggling. The oldest book in the Bible, which was likely an adapted narrative from a story that goes even further back, preserved by God all the way to Christian tradition...and all you usually hear in mainstream is the adage "the patience of Job." Gotta be more to it and how it fits in with the Biblical narrative. I like Girard's book as well as Jung's for very different reasons but they're esoteric. Needs to be textually studied more than Revelations even, I dare say.

You’re amazing bud, I am sorry to hear about your divorce. Just remember God will get you through it if you trust in Him and seek Him first, and know that He’s not the one doing it to you. Satan wants to hurt you and cause division to your family, and I will continue to pray for peace and joy in your life, as well as clarity from God ❤️

Never heard of it, but based on the title, I would probably not be fond of it lol. God is always here, Jesus lives inside of us and we have everything that we NEED that pertains to LIFE & godliness (2 Peter 1:3). It’s probably very similar to Lauren Daigles “I Will Trust in You” song talking about when God doesn’t move the mountain in your life, to trust in Him. I can’t stand it, because instead, I trust God to MOVE the mountains in my life because that’s what Jesus instructed lol

@@MATCH1N Just gave it a quick listen and agree with you however I the song I mentioned is very different as it is about the questioning of God by Job and how he is humbled by how God puts the world into perspective. Recommend you give it a quick listen.

@@joeldavison7153 okay cool yeah I just listened to it. It sounds like it comes from Job’s perspective and God responding to him. From that timeline, I would agree that’s a great song, from Jesus’ timeline now, it’s a little different because Eph. 5:17 says do not be unwise but know the will of the father, and Rom. 12:2 says to be transformed by the renewing of your mind to prove the will of the Father. So I like the song, but I would encourage people who listen to it to understand it’s context ❤️

could you kinda debunk the whole Christians getting tattoos please? because I'm getting mixed opinions, some are saying iwe shouldn't get any period and some are saying that we live in the New Testament so anything in the Old Testament is no longer "law" you mentioned it a bit in this video but I just want to know if that's just as far as it goes.
@MATCH1N
@MATCH1N Жыл бұрын
Tattoos will NOT send you to hell, any Christian who says that does not understand their Bible or who God is, respectfully. They typically quote Leviticus & from a specific time for specific people, and try to apply that to today. What sends people to hell, is not believing in Jesus and accepting Him as their Savior. I love the artistry behind tattoos, but personally I wouldn't get one just because I don't need to put anything on myself. I just want to always be full of Jesus & represent Him the best I can. So the way I look at it, is if I was literally walking beside Jesus every day like the disciples did, I would not care to get any tattoos, I would just be fascinated by Him and not think of myself at all, but if someone came up covered in tattoos and asked to follow Jesus too, He would say come and follow. He would NOT turn that person away just because of their "markings"

1:8. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? .... 1:12. And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord. 2:3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. In 2:3 God clearly accuses HaShaytan of inciting God against him to destroy him for no reason. Moving who against him for no reason? Unless God is capable of verbal slips, it seems like he is the one that did it. Now, either way he misspoke there because in 1:8, it is God who draws attention to Job, and in 1:12 God mandates Job's trial by the adversary. This remains true whether you incorrectly impose the Christian view of Satan into the text, or if you read it in its correct context where HaShaytan is among the "Sons of God" in service to God. Then you have the might makes right monologue in Chapters 38-41. He doesn't commend Job for his faith or uprightness, he berates him for four chapters. Why is God providing an account for himself if he didn't do it?Charitably speaking, this is actually a stunningly written theodicy and easily the cream of the crop that is ancient Near Eastern Wisdom Literature, the point of God's monologue is to illustrate the cosmic scale on which God works making his ways far above and beyond the reckoning of mortal men, none of that scans considering the first two chapters but suspend disbelief a bit. That theodicy and Job spending the entire book in the grip of a crisis or faith is what makes the book a timeless and gripping work of art, and it's those very things that gentiles either refuse to acknowledge or misrepresent- especially but not limited to the most ignorant of gentiles, Protestants. Moreover, there's a single, good case for why God didn't do it. It was written as a myth and understood to be one by many(though not all) well afterwards. Some brilliant, ancient writer constructed the story of the Righteous Gentile in order to answer or at least to understand the problem of evil. I strongly suggest to anyone not so inflicted with such chronic incuriousity to give "When Bad Things Happen to Good People" by Harold Kushner - I don't agree with each of its points but I've not found a more satisfying attempt to answer the problem of evil. Also God: a Biography by Jack Miles is stunning just for its parts on Job.
