Jasher and Jubilees and Scripture I have just finished Jasher on audiobook and found it did expand on events in the Bible, but not in ways that made a difference in a relationship with God. After listening to Jubilees (Little Geneses), and Jasher I feel that they are so equal and repetitive of Genesis, that the same events would be retold three times if these books were also included. It would be a lot like the gospels repeating while adding more. This might not be so bad. I think it was that simple of reasoning for the selection process, that led to leaving these books out. I found more detail on some biblical characters, but nothing heretical at all. They seem perfectly OK as far as content goes. Just very little that is new. Okay, so why do things like this have to bug me so much?
