I had my doubts how a sweet potato pie made with red wine would turn out, but it looked *scrumptious!*

It's adding apples, that I find strange. We make it like we do our pumpkin pie. I prefer Pumpkin Pie for dessert and Sweet Potatoes, with roasted Marshmallows on top as a side dish, to go with our Thanksgiving turkey. Although, I have seen recipes calling for red wine in a Sweet Potato casserole before. In case you can't tell, American here.

I love the array of copper pots everywhere. If I knew the chefs preferred copper pots, I would have bought exclusively copper long ago.

I started buying copper pots/pans when I was around 17. I would buy them till around 30 where my collection included a double boiler from France as most of my pots are from. Hand hammered bnb pieces such as my stock pots were spendy. I have had them retinned twice and Im 68 and thats decisions Im glad I made young. Lifetime use and will be passed on to someone who will love them as I have.
