....and for the episode I watched yesterday the recipe included one big ol' clove of garlic. Hmph. I just find this Guy to be a selfish eater. Chef barely has her cutlery out of her portion and it looks like he pushes her aside with a "can I get....". He comes across like that every episode.
Tootsla 125 These recipes make me want to be a vegan.

@@marklauzon186--It reminds me of a CSI episode of a chef's murder where the kitchen mantra was: "Don't touch my knives; don't touch my johnson". Maybe he's afraid that she'll grab his gonads. Or that hers are bigger than his. Or maybe he's just a wanna be alpha male who can't cope with a female chef who is better at culinary arts than he is.

Prince Phillip may not be interested in racing, but he’s still quite a horseman. He was instrumental in the development of the sport of combined driving, which is patterned after eventing, but with horse carriages. Jumping phases are replaces with with “slalom” courses with gates. Phillip competed with a four-in-hand. I’d imagine after driving four horses through the twists and turns of technical courses, racing may seem not that exciting.

Is that any explanation why gelatin being used so regularly in English dishes, even for savory dishes? I'm not familiar with that concept and feel it would be tasted odd somehow, otherwise for sweet food like fruit gelatine or cake or cheese cake. Kinda shocking but interested, how it does taste? It's so fun to watch, to dive in history thorough food. Hope you all be safe, happy and keep make an awesome show♥️
@bonniehowell42593 жыл бұрын
I believe gelatin was originally used for preserving meat and fish dishes. However, it later became popular with royals due to its flexibility to be able to create intricate and "show stopping" center pieces. .

The gelatin they’re using hasn’t any flavor. I think it’s that we’ve not really been exposed to set meats or vegetable ‘structures’. Our generation mostly know only sweets such as trifle etc.

Alcohol is required in the making of certain dishes. Absolutely necessary. And which "god" is it that you're talking about? There have been over 3,500 of them created by man in all of recorded human history. None of them actually exist, so what difference would it make whether this fictitious deity forbade it or not? Science has proven that moderate consumption of some alcoholic beverages have considerable health benefits. So what is it that you are babbling on about anyway? Why are you trying so desperately to impose your wishes on everyone else?

Has anyone else noticed Dr. Annie Grey's digs at men? Whether it is in this series, or others, she does appear to have an agenda. One wonders how she would react to any comment that had the vaguest whiff off of misogyny, even if she had to stay up all night "thinking" about it. She is very intelligent, but her apparent misandrist agenda is dismaying.
