I absolutely hate these guys that just block you from enjoying your time. Reporting these guys doesn't seem to work, and what they are doing is straight harassment. I wish SE would do something about it.

This started happening in Sargatanas way back August 2022. A deranged headcase name Baemaas got disgruntled by lalafells and got banned. A day later, as revenge, he created 5 Roegadyn bots and posted them over what we called the Lala Wall in Limsa Lominsa. The number of bots increased the more we tried to fight back, then off-worlder bots, the Weebpolice Roes caught wind of this and piggybacked on. Limsa was a mess for months. I think the GM's banned a few of their accounts due to spamming and racist and homophobic remarks. Ultimately, the bots just shut up and stood there and the GMs couldn't ban them anymore because just standing there wasn't exactly a violation, and they couldn't prove that all these bot accounts belonged to one person. Honestly, the GMs powerlessness in banning these accounts was one of the reasons why I went on hiatus from FFXIV. I was disgusted by what they did to a once happy hangout spot for lalafells and their friends. Your only choice is to use the Visibility plugin to wipe them off your screen since SE's blocking system is for sht.

It's the result of FFXIV's outdated social systems. Blacklisted people can still have all the information about you if they've ever friended you or have any social groups connected to you. The devs definitely need to update it in case trolls begin to run rampant.

Idk if its the same troll, but time I ran into that troll was on Sarg server and they were blocking the Lala wall where a big group of Lalas like to hang. (Wall on bridge towards the MB) He then would start shouting racial, and disturbing slurs at everyone who would ask him why he was doing this or ask him to leave. Everyone in limsa did a mass report on this set, but nothing was done. The guy continued for 3month, before one day logging in and they were gone. But only gone cuz they moved to a different server and harrass people there, then he would come back to sarg. This guy still being a nuisance to the player, but don't think SE can pin down his IP to ban permanently cuz he just makes more. 😢 Total eye sore

For RP and Non-RP, houses need blacklist, and not allow people on the owners blacklist not allowed in. I have had good experiences with GM's luckily dealing with trolls in housing/venues.

I had this happen at the venue I currently work for in mid-2023. They were harassing our venue owner and just flooded our venue fooor and then when we moved outside they all mounted up and the person controlling the bots was just scanning the entire yard looking for the venue owner which they fortunately shimmied themselves behind the house where it made it difficult to spot them. I was more annoyed they almost made me crash several times 🤣

So I actually used to know the guy behind those bots. Yes, he is a troll. He isn't the person this story is about though. This seems like a different person. He kinda just finds it funny that people get so upset over it. Because in his eyes, it's just a game, and just having a bunch of naked people standing around isn't actually hurting anyone. Would I do what he does? No. But the only reason he even does it in the first place is because people get so upset with it. He views it as something not worthy enough to get upset over. If nobody gave a shit he probably would stop. All that being said. Having known him a little bit, and actually spoken with him a number of times in voice. He didn't seem like that bad of a guy. He could maybe be a little annoying sometimes I guess. But I haven't played the game in a long time, and all these interactions were a while ago. So idk if things have changed, and I also didn't know him very well.

so this story has so many lies i know about the venue and what happen thereason the troll got mad was because someone who worked there was posting beastiality screenshot so then fking an animal when the person went to the owner he wouldnt do shit about it they were asked to fire the person and to take town the photos and the trolling wouldnt happen but the owner said no. so they keep trying the owner is good friends with the troll they talk. after new nights of the trolling the owner gave in fired the person and deleted the photos. the owner then re hired the person who was still posted beastiality screenshot

I know this story. If anyone been in the venue scene a long time then you know about Baemaas and his trolling of venues. If you been in long enough then you know why he trolls venues. He has a vast network of connections, bots gathering intel, and solely focusing on punishing venues that have bad actors. He is very transparent about his reasons too. In more recent days theres only been a handful of venues being trolled and here are the following reasons: Lala erp / age play, a venue was hiring trolls to attack other venues so he trolled them back, twitch DJ group holding venues hostage, etc. His methods arent very nice, so theres no way to justify it in any kind of light, but he has done a good job of trying to shed light on or remove toxic venues/people from the scene.

There are certain kinks, and people who abuse them who for sure have no place in this community. But there is NOTHING wrong with healthy, consensual kink. This trolling is unacceptable in ANY situation, regardless. Especially when it targets EVERYONE, and not just the person with the kink they don't approve of. No, I am not a fan of the 'f*ta' fetish, I think it comes across as extremely transphobic, and as a trans person, I find it disgusting. But kink in and of itself is NOT wrong.
