Very interesting topic. The public would be aware the true status of HIV once you are infected with this virus. It's a social issue that concerns everybody. Just because we or anybody within our household does not have cancer does not mean we just wouldn't care. Being educated on the subject matter benefits everybody, not just the minority. It's rampant and nobody just cares to talk about it. So to the question if it's going to be "a norm," it already is, and let's be thankful to the people working the butts off to share awareness.
