They're good to complain online about it and make a huge media circus about it but as soon as anyone mentions to them that the solution requires them to go out there themselves and actually interact with one another and try to settle the issues they shy away and go back to their default answer of "guns bad, people can't be bad without them". People should start taking more responsibility for their families and loved ones and pay attention to them. If people were more willing to be a friend to those in need and took a more involved approach in others lives and in their communities then something good would actually happen. But it's so much easier to just ban something that doesn't require you to care about anyone else or talk to them. It's easier to put blame on an object than on the people themselves, it's easier to just ban guns than to try to get to know people and what they want.

Nah, I don't think so. While this design looks pretty cool, it's not really useful. There's no way to accurately aim on a distance, making the weapon almost useless above distances of like 10 metres. In close quarters, it could function really well, but that's not at all where an archer is supposed to be. A Polearm would still be more efficient in holding people back.

Also, it is pretty pointless anyway since you couldn't mount a laser on it back then due to lacking optical technology in Roman Empire...
