Yes! Play! I'm an early childhood teacher and the powers that be have forgotten about the importance of play.... Thanks for being a playful mentor!

As a recovering ashtangi and later anusarite, I very much appreciated your conversation with Paris regarding bowspring. I tried bowspring when John friend first started offering it and it was revolutionary for me. I wasn’t able to keep it up because it just wasn’t available in my location. But I still intuitively find myself in some of the basic shapes and feel immediate relief always. I teach Block therapy and the Melt Method to all of my clients. One day, I hope to incorporate more bowspring as well as kinetics. Thanks again for the great post!

Imbalancing.... Yes, I'm just discovering this as well, exploring. So this discussion is on point for me! I've experimented with yoga, but never actually studied it. This all makes so much sense to me ❤

The myofascial component caught my eye (me being a JFB MFR therapist). This is intriguing. How do I find out more about new spins into this “total self” care?

I'm not sure what you're wanting more info on? Can you clarify what you mean by "this total self care?"

Essentially both of the methods that you ladies are promoting, they are both intriguing to me! I heard you say that you do summer school which I would entertain attending but not the dates this summer; I will still be looking after my lacrosse team.😊

@@jimludwig3108 - to learn more about Bowspring, you'll need to look up their website or go to Paris's website (link in video description). You can learn more about Kinetix (my method of partner fascia release and mapping) here: www.kinetix.academy/

Hi Elisha, I have a question - is it possible that one's sternum can become misaligned? I have done some of the diaphragm release exercise you demonstrated in older videos and I noticed that my sternum seems to be tilted ventrally and slightly to the right, a bit like the sting of a scorpion. I am just starting to learn about fascia release and was wondering whether the orientation of the sternum varies naturally or if that could be an indicator of trauma-related chronic tension, my breath tends to feel more shallow and restricted as it moves from belly to chest... anyway sorry that this is not related to your most recent post, it's just that right now I would not know who else to ask about this.

It's definitely possible for the sternum to be misaligned, as it is for anything in the body. There are many reasons, and it's always unique to each person and their sports, habits, traumas, breathing patterns etc. This is why I believe we need to start treating individuals rather than labels or symptoms. One person's sternum could be misaligned for purely physical reasons, another for purely psychological/emotional reasons affecting breath, another because of a surgery or trauma.
