As well as how it is somewhat ironic that an actress who is half Jewish is playing a character with such a hateful name. Like most of the Seven, Stormfront has a certain image she projects in public, especially in front of media, but her true self is revealed when she's not monitored by the press. Now that she's revealed to us her true values, there shouldn't be anymore surprises left in what she does. I feel that maybe A-Train keeps his costume on because he associates his identity with it. With out it, he's just another black guy, and seeing how that shoe store employee treated him in his store when Reggie is out of costume last season, it just re-enforces that fear. I don't get why Deep has to hide his gills aside from Homelander thinking it looks ugly. He needs them for breathing underwater, and I imagine the costume would restrict that capability. From some of the press junkets, the cast of the Boys did reveal the condition of the boat they rented was really bad, and it really did spring a leak and sank, so we're left to wonder if that was actual footage of the boat flooding was real, instead of a set piece on a backlot stage.

Seeing as they have similar powers, not exact but similar as the writers intended with all of the characters. She made very likable on purpose.

That's not reminding her of the power imbalance and your reflexive abuse of it at all. This is another episode where I feel sad for Deep. All his sea animal friends get squished. There are levels to evil and if you really think about the kills we've seen from Homelander so far and what you just witnessed from Stormfront, they really aren't in the same ballpark. Homelander doesn't seem to get off on killing innocents, all of the people he has killed so far were either commiting a crime, terrorist or betrayed him (Madeline). He also isn't racist, seems to have a general disdain for all non supe humans regardless of race

I know, I'm also shocked when some people can't see the clue. The name Stormfront just reeks of racism. I don't mean to belittle the education of some countries. But the viewers from Europe, grasped it quicker than U.S viewers. I think because, WW II is taught from an early age (here in the UK at least). We grasp the more sinister side to the name. And sadly, there is still a small group of individuals, who believe in those facist ideals. And they would likely have a name that conjures, that history, and their beliefs.

That by no means was my intention. Yes, you are right it was ingenious with making her a sympathetic character at first. Then only to shock you with her true nature. I was just saying the name could be seen as a clue. And I was generally surprised, how many times it passed people by. I had my suspicions because of her name. But how she came across at first, made me second question them. That's what makes her well written. Then this episode dropped and you realise, she is what you feared. I meant no disrespect, with my comments. And apologies profusely if it came across in that way. I think, I was more aware because growing up here in Scotland. As kids we heard of the Neo Nazis and Hitler defenders. Sadly the 80s and 90s had a lot of them. Nobody I knew had anything to do with them. The name just sounds like one of the groups you where told to avoid. I suppose it was rather harsh, blaming the educational system. And sadly, what's more to blame is the era and environment you grew up in.

I just realized it made so much sense why Stormfront was so nice to Starlight, because Annie is so blond and white.
