The deep did his big one in this episode. He fully embraced being a fucked up murder puppet that Homelander help mold. He even killed committed murder against his own sea creature girlfriend.

For me this is the worst season, and it's not even close. It looks like the showrunner ran out of ideas, and that's why he created so many pointless storylines and so many filler scenes. The only good and consistent aspect of the show is Anthony Starr and Karl Urban's acting. Other than that, a lot of the other actors have bad acting. The whole season is full of plot holes and bad writing. The episode with the sheep's? Neuman could've exploded them; no need to run from them; more bad writing and a plot hole. MM tells Butcher they can't kill Deep. Even though they were literally doing it, there were more plot holes and lazy writing. Not a single episode of this show has been great; the best one is episode 4, and it's mostly the Homelander scenes because there are other scenes that were bad. The action of this show is also so poorly filmed; there are so many cuts, and it looks like the budget was $5 million. Most of the time, the only important plot of the episode is the last 5 minutes of the episode, which shows how horrible this season is.

Sure lots of plotholes but I think movement is Neumans weakness. I think the only reason she doesn't kill Homelander is because he'd just fly away, same reason she didn't kill the sheep.

Because as of now, we have no reason to believe she can't just kill Homelander, especially the sheep's, and in the court scene, didn't she kill many people that were moving and running? So yeah, it just doesn't make any sense at all.

@@CuddleCakez And yes, the information we don't have is a plot hole. They haven't said anything about her not being able to explore those sheep's because they were flying. As far as we know, she can pop anyone; it doesn't matter if they have V in their blood, as we have seen her and Marie do it and she didn't, so it is a plot hole. If they made a scene after they went into the barn and Butcher screamed at her, "Why don't you pop them up?!" And if she says, "I can't; they are flying fast, and I can't concentrate on their blood to explote them," then it wouldn't be a plot hole. And she struggled only because they were friends and probably didn’t wanted to kill him, that’s why she made him bleed first, but he knew how her powers worked so hit her fast, and he knew she needed to be looking at what she wanted to pop, and he was covering her eyes. She doesn’t need time to explore their heads, we’ve seen her do it instantly.
