I've been "arguing" with sb about this. They said Ashley had long thought of taking V if it ever came to saving herself. I said I thought she thought about it instantly, presumably because she didn't know its existence until she saw A-Train that day. She's too scared of HL to start snooping around thereby making her taking V an instant thing.

This final was such a good build up for what's in store for season 5 like what the hell🤣 My mate said what if a massive plot twist was that butcher imagined that whole encounter with Ryan and Grace cuz that means that butcher might not have killed Newman and set the dominoe off for marshal law😬 just something to ponder over the next 2 year

it is the final season which makes sense why this ending was intense like that were also getting a second season of Gen V which has been in production since may this year according to the articles ive read and im really hyped to see whats going to happen in season 2 cause its probably gonna be a part of the 4rth season of The Boys and i loved the 1rst season and im hoping my girl Marie Jordan and Emma are gonna show up along with Cate and Sam in season 5 of The Boys that’d be epic having the whole gang from Gen V appear in the final season of The Boys

Calling this a weak finale is weird. I couldn't be hyped enough. Homelander has full power of America basically now, the supes can do whatever they want without any consequences and we're gonna enter a war to overthrow him, killing many supes in a process. Season 5 is gonna be diabolical.

I thought the shifter was an interesting character. Couldn’t even remember who they were originally. Just the memories of people who think they’re always the heroes in their lives. Weird that the shifter died with just a chokehold.

Jack Quaid is probably more disappointed since he doesn’t get to act with his real life girlfriend anymore. Neuman did a lot of bad things, but a lot of this season has been about how they’ve all done terrible things. Didn’t like seeing her go out like that, but it just emphasized Butcher has given himself over to Kessler.

25:28 Newman would die from hands of Homelander or Boys and CIA would relly hide her. One way or another, Newman is declared dead and Singer is guilty because a shapeshifter filmed him talking about killing Newman. Sage didn’t think that if Newman went to the Boys and the CIA for protection, she would be killed. They had to protect her from Homelander and declare her dead accordingly. Singer will appear guilty one way or another. It’s their problem that they just killed the surrendered Newman and lost an ally

Even if Neuman wasn't killed, Sage would've gotten her impeached thus ending in the same result. But it wasn't a shapeshifter who talked about killing Neuman tho it was actually him unless you're saying Sage could've hired another shapeshifter but i feel like Singer's lawyers could weasel him out of that.

"to on the nose" is such a ridiculous take to me. stormfront was literally named after a nazi newspaper and she was talking about white genocide... its been like this its just more this season because we are near the end of the whole show and facades are dropping and people are being up front more with no time to hide etc.

good finale :) they moved the pieces where they needed to be, got rid of whats unnecessary, resolved all the small stuff, set up the final season nicely :) even though this 4th season is probably gonna be the weakest overall as long as they make the most out of the final one its worth it :) love the fact that Soldier Boy is coming back :)

I love love love "watching" shows with you. Same time, same feelings, not always same after thoughts, but man these are such a blast. Watching this and House of Dragon with you is a ton of fun! I really liked this season. The political stuff is creepily on point with the US right now. Great stuff! I saw a commend about not wanting Ashley to be "gone". Agree she has become interesting and I would like to see her step up with ATrain next season with her new powers.

Since we'll be seeing Jensen Ackles and Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the final season, its a only a matter of time we'll be seeing Jared Padalecki and have a Supernatural reunion. Plus he's in talks with Eric Kripke of joining the final season so I hope he joins. *crossing my fingers*

@eddyyanes6551 because most of the time he thinks logically and thinks about the best outcome for everyone. Just recently, he has been infected by a parasite, which is messing up his thinking. It's took full control cause he got emotionally compromised when that CIA agent died, so therefore gave in to the parasite. His character building is the best in the show. You'll probably disagree, but opinions will be opinions.

This was an okay finale for me. Didn’t feel like a finale but a good middle episode . I didn’t get sage’s plan and basically predicated everything else. Definitely the weakest season
