@Heavy Spoilers we've all learned that "unless you see the body", nobody is truly dead. Well, we never saw Stormfront's body(just blood on the bed) and the precedent of kidnapping/hiding a woman pregnant with Homelander's baby has already been established. The amount of blood on the bed and its location wouldn't be consistent with biting off one's own toungue...but Stormfront can potentially fly without arms/legs AND she would likely be a willing experimentation subject for a Robocop procedure.

Honestly, I like this Black Noir better than the comics. I will be deeply upset if he is gone forever; but I can see that happening because since Homelander has final say, I doubt he would want Black Noir back on the team since he 'betrayed him with his silence'. I love Black Noir. I still love his piano scene in season 01.

We've seen him in fights and it shows he is good with weaponry such as knives, etc. But fans that theorize he does have a regeneration quality power. Such as when he went to fight terrorist and got hit with a bomb, his body was badly damaged but he was standing and able to walk away. Also, when he fought Soldier Boy after he hit him with head with his shield and burned his body. And surviving when Maeve forced a candybar with nuts down his throat. (I think I am missing another example). But this time, Homelander actually spilled his guts out... I have no idea how he can survive that but there is a possibility.

Homelander feeling betrayed by Noir's silence was just his excuse to kill Noir. The scene where he kills Noir starts with him trying to talk down Noir from killing Soldier Boy. If Noir wasn't so insistent on killing him, Homelander would have let Noir live. Homelander's ideal outcome was to have a dad, his son and his best friend by his side. I think in his mind he thought he could have smoothed things over between Noir and Soldier Boy if he could get Noir to stand down. When Noir wouldn't go along with that Homelander decided he had to go, because nobody was going to stand in the way of him getting the family he's always wanted.

There is one line from season 3 that makes me think we’ll get a “clonelander” like Black Noir. In Herogasm HL tells SB “I’m the upgrade” saying that SB is obsolete and he’s the better product. With Noir being from the same time as SB, his death could symbolize the “upgrade” eventually coming along that Vought had in the works. Edgar could’ve easily adopted another child to serve a purpose similar to Newman.

He survived the brain damage but he’s a shadow of his former self - - because he didn’t regenerate his brain back to full form.. his intestines being ripped out and torn - would leave him in constant agony and would paralyse him with pain - because he can’t regenerate what’s been lost.. Black Noir is such a great character. I think it’s his element of mystery that surrounds him and, quite frankly, nobody really knows the true extent of his powers yet. Surely he’s not just a silent assassin and weapons master with very fast reflexes because, given the training, any non-supe could achieve that. I feel like there is too much potential to have him killed off. The way they handle characters like this is what I think is part in parcel to what makes The Boys such a fantastic series to watch.

I want Black Noir to return too, I was actually scared of him especially after what he did to Kimiko. His silence added to the aura of mystery. He could actually heal well, like he survived two blasts he was still kicking well. They can't do that after they really developed the character .

Hear me out, Black Noir vs Black Noir. Ashley replaces him with some random Supe because he can just wear the mask, but Stan Edgar has the real Noir's corpse stitched back together and then pumped full of Compound V. OG Noir could be extremely pissed off that they just replaced him immediately when he was always loyal, and he might try to kill his replacement. This would parallel the comics because instead of two Homelanders fighting (one being Noir), there's two Noirs fighting.

This was a great season. Some of my on the head prediction for Season 4 would be: >Ryan starts to become more like Homelander, adopting some of his cruelty and disregard for others but his actions start to become too much on him as he remembers his mother's wishes for him to be good and her death. >Dakota Bob becomes the US president and pardons Stan Edgar, who rebuilds a new Superhero team (this could be the seven, after a hypothetical scenario where Homelander is fired) with a black noir that is either a new one more closely reflecting the comics (I.e. Homelander clone), or the current one who Stan manged to fix before he dies of his gut filled wounds killing him. Victoria is alligned with Stan yet again either from a plot twist going back to season 3 where they planned to overtake Homelander, or she goes back to him cuz her daughter is not in good shape (either from compound V or Homelander threatening her). A-Train might be with Stan since he was looking at Black Noirs helmet in the S3 finale so he might finally not be with Homelander. Maybe he'll even fight him with the Boys in the season 4 finale to somewhat redeem himself. >Homelander creates more supes and tries to reanimates some old ones for his team (either for the Seven since so many of them are gone, or for a new team after he gets kicked outta Vought). The world (minus Toad and his cronies) wants Homelander to be held accountable for the all the deaths he has caused including on the plane and the guy at the ralley. >The deep comes out as openly fish sexual and finds he is not alone and finds others who are also but discovers that the fish and octopus are not consensual in their relationships (dont ask this). >Butcher has some unexpected residual effect from temp v, and has to deal with the ramecations of his declining health along with the collapse of his relationships with Ryan and the rest of his team.

I could totally see it playing out that we end up with 2 Noirs. One who is the PR front for Vought and the other being the one we know and love brought back by Edgar. I could picture a scene where the new Noir is murdered like the old. It seems like we’re heading toward the Homelander coup given all the trump references, and I feel like Edgar or Victoria would use a revived Noir as a contingency.

I'd just like to see Black Noir return given he's one of the most intruiging characters in The Boys IMO. I can see him returning to The Seven given Homelander seems to genuinely see him as a "friend" of sorts and if The Seven is rebuilt Homelander will no doubt want only loyalists (and any "zombie" or robot form of BN would perhaps be more inclined to follow instructions without question). Alternatively having BN quietly continue to exist and look to gain revenge on Homelander by assisting The Boys would be fine with me. I think there's still a lot for this character to offer. Personally I can see the following possibilities for Black Noir: - a "zombie" version, similarly following the comics. Seeing him creep out everyone in Vought Tower, especially A-Train, The Deep & Ashley, could be amusing in a typically twisted kinda way - a parody of Wade Wilson from X-Men Origins: Wolverine where they try and cram more powers in to Black Noir to make him the "ultimate weapon" / contingency against Homelander - a robot version to parody Robocop / 6 Million Dollar Man / Cyborg who has a slightly different skill set to before - Black Noir remains dead yet Homelander continues to see him and speak to him as a vision as his psyche becomes more fragmented Whatever happens; the first 3 seasons of The Boys gives me faith that if Black Noir does return it'll be more than a token gesture / fan service.

The cyborg thing is the most likely one. It would be like a parody of the Winter Soldier movie, he being revived by Edgar in order to have someone who can kill all the Supes and The Boys. I picture his design like a fusion between the Predator, RoboCop and the original Noir. Ninja weapons like swords and knives and advanced long range weaponry, like a shoulder cannon. Noir would hunt down every one of the Supes, starting with the guy who replace him.

Here’s my prediction: The second Black Noir will return as a clone. But not a copy-appearance of Homelander. He will have the powers of every supe that died or bled on the show (thanks to Maeve making Homelander ‘finally bleed’). He will be revealed as Vought’s main Contingency Plan, with Ryan just being the decoy to throw Homelander off their trail all along. An invulnerable Supe with Homelander, Stormfront, Queen Maeve, Black Noir, Translucent, Starlight, Seven Members, Payback Members, and more Supe’s powers combined!!!

Asper my theory, if you guys remember all the Co-Team members of Soldier Boy got old due to time, but in case of Black Noir he looks pretty young, it almost seems he haven't aged a bit. So asper my theory he is immortal and he has self healing abilities. For example, when Soldier boy burnt his face and hitted his skull multiple times with his shield his brain almost pop out of his skull, and he somehow recovered, though he lost his vocal abilities, but still he pretty much got healed will. There can be one more reason why Black Noir doesn't speek, maybe that's because Vaught wanted a Race Neutral Hero, and they don't want him to reveal his race, so maybe Vaught intensionally removed his vocal cord.

Given the fact that Soldier Boy is on ice, and under the supervision of Mallory: I wouldn't be surprised if Noir came back with a means of using the same lazer ability that Soldier Boy had as a means of being able to defeat him.

My take on what Kripke said was that it was going to be a different person in the Black Noir outfit - Homelander will handpick a new person to take over as Black Noir and he will act different that the previous one - that was what Kripke said - he would be different But the same actor who played mute Noir. A realistic approach is that Black Noir was dehumanized by soldier boy in such a manner that he had to occasionally regress to a childish state to cope with it. I also think I know why Black Noir didn't tell Homelander that soldier boy was his biological father, it's because he was afraid that Homelander might try to group with soldier boy who was his greatest enemy.

theory before i actually watch the video, in the comic book there’s a hero who died (i think hughie killed him) and vought brought him back as a zombie. they tried to bring back dead heroes so they can never really “die”. i think this would be great for noir. as it would be sad for him to suffer enough pain and still not die from it. also black noir is already kinda a zombie. it would screw with homelander so much.

I don't remember Vought ever publicly announcing Noir's death. The only ones who knew were The Boys(since Butcher was there when Homelander admits to killing him), Soldier Boy, Homelander, Maeve , The Deep, A-Train, and Ashley. Homelander can see through everything but zinc so if he had a zinc-lined helmet homelander wouldnt be able to tell. Alternatively, the could keep noirs actor and just give him homelanders powers through a rejuvenating shot of the newly refined compound v. However since the noir mantle is being handed down the former is more likely.

What is Noirs power set exactly? He tanked an explosion in season 1 (I think) against the supe terrorist without flinching, and in the 3rd season we see him just casually cut out his tracker no flinching so what can he do exactly?

what if they adapt the zombie stuff specifically to noir? theyve made no mention of zombified supes being at the tower so far, however noir couldve been the first person to remain a viable hero due to their unique powerset where upon death, theyre still able to function and noir overtime remembers certain things. he could be pulled more from batman meets wolverine and how wolverines healing is a traumatic process. if he returns he might be far less human than he already barely was, but still wired to follow voughts programming such as “kill homelander” nothing short of a fatal blow will stop him. he may also be boosted by or outright replaced(i hope not) by soldier boy(‘s dna) to augment his heightened ability. anything along those lines would be interesting takes on what happens in the comics without the gratuitous nature the show has actually avoided thus far

I was thinking that they'd bring Black Noir back by having it be a repurposed, lobotomized Soldier Boy. Since the original concept of black noir in the comics was a clone on par with Homelander that was capable of killing him if he ever got out of line, using Solider Boy to fill the role would be a funny spin on it and a new source of personal strife for Homelander.

I kind of just thought that Black Noir died in the flash back, and that afterwards it has always just been clones that have had the suit, with some of the memories. The creator of the series said that they used a different actor for the flash backs, so that the same actor could keep on playing Black Noir, without anyone having seen him being killed. That more or less tells me that they will put another super in the Noir costume.

Seeing as how the public doesn’t know BN is dead, and Homelander took the time to hold on to his Helmet, I think Homelander will recast BN for PR purposes and than Edgar will revive or restore the OG BN secretly and give him the task of eliminating and secretly replacing the BN replacement chosen by Homelander as a way of infiltration (which matches his character theme of stealth). Now that he has secretly replaced his replacement, he can take on his role in the comics of being a contingency plan to eliminate Homelander if he goes too far and in this whole process we can learn more about BN powers and purpose. The only hole in this theory is Homelander has X-ray vision and can see BN face, unless they give him an upgraded mask or outfit (which can be written in by the directors when they introduce the new BN chosen by Homelander for PR reasons) and this new upgraded mask can be lined with Knickel or lead or whatever material it was that Homelander couldn’t see through. Or when they revive the OG BN they can just reconstruct his face to look like his replacement to fool Homelander long enough to kill him.

It would be a way to screw with Homelander who could see with his x-ray vision that it Noir is the "same" person and somehow had no damage. Maybe the clone would be amped up to Homelander's level or given Homelander's powers, and thus able to kill Homelander.

Seems like they are turning Butcher into the HL “clone” setting up the final super fight between them. This would also make Butcher’s character arc be more tragic then the comic. Black Noir having a upgrade replacement like HL is of Solider Boy would be a great move.

They’re definitely going to do the recast but they might revive classic noir as well. I believe if they go that route, they would definitely also bring back stormfront. There’s just so much stormfront propaganda still in the show, she was either mentioned or had her face in nearly every episode and we definitely didn’t see her die or a dead body. I think she was Epstein’ed away and she’ll resurface as a Darth Vader type of character. Since her resurrection could already have been in the works, they could very likely take a shot at doing the same to original noir. If they can make temp V, then could probably use something like gekko’s dna to regrow her limbs. Or maybe there’s a supe out there with healing / necromancy powers.

Kind of a long shot- But imagine if they had Soldier Boy be the next Black Noir. They make his mask out of zinc, as Homelander can’t see through zinc, and they make sure that Homelander never meets him. I could also totally see them shifting the clone storyline to where they just have a bunch of Black Noir clones, as he was technically the first member of The Seven, and they may want to preserve him.

My theory is that whatever Maeve stuck through Homelander's ear left him partially brain dead or scrambled at least, he doesn't say a word after the fight and doesn't look fully aware of what's going on. As far as I can tell, Black Noir's death isn't public knowledge yet, and no one knows what he looks like under the mask (especially now after Eric Kripke saying a masked silent hero is easy to recast), I think they're gonna put the Homelander we know in the Black Noir costume as a call back to the comics, and the Homelander we see at the end is a clone Vought had on standby waiting to replace original Homelander when he goes off the deep end, but with him taking over Vought they couldn't do anything about it until now. He would've been briefed on the public reception of Homelander, and that he has a son that Vought will obviously want to use so they get them to start going out in public together to build followers and even portray Homelander as a father figure, but he either hadn't learnt to bite his tongue like the original, or misinterpreted something in the brief and thinks that's what Homelander would do, and instantly kills the guy when he hits his son with the bottle/can/whatever it was, showing he's protecting his child and rallying even more support. I think Ryan will eventually see that Black Noir is actually his dad (when he learns to use his x-ray vision), and realizes he's been a puppet for Vought, Idk what next though, whether he's too far gone and too much like Homelander, or if he'll turn on them and help The Boys again, probably the latter

I think its either the zombie theory for Noir, or he will 'be back' only in flashbacks to give some exposition. Next season will heavily focus on Homelander (+son) I believe. Maybe loosing control over Vought and going berserk, or they save that for the next season. And I think at least Butcher will take the permanent V and thats gonna be the seasons big showdown. Him fighting against Homelander over his son. About Newman Im not quite sure where they are going with it, she will be VP for sure and probably become the president too. I just dont really see yet what that would do. Maybe she wants to close Vought down or it being controlled by the govourment. Other than that idk atm. Edit: Maybe Newman influences Bobby to drop some laws about sups, making life for Homelander and Vought a misery. Something like they need to be supervised and controlled and take or try to take Ryan. Which makes Homelander rage and he goes to the White House and kill Bobby, after which Butcher is attacking him with his last shot of tempV. Butcher dies but wounding Homelander. Making him go off the grid with Ryan. (Maybe even several years, to train him. Setting them up to war the US in a future season.) Edgar will be head of Vought again and Newman the new President. End of season.

In season 3, they really built him up for a climactic ending and then abruptly turned and flushed all of that down the toilet for what? To stereotypically kill off the token black guy I guess?
