I think butcher will slowly regain morality but in a twisted way he'll save Ryan by killing both homelander and himself to save him.

Great shout to be fair mate. I just hope if they go down that route, that they don't have Kessler control him all season and then in the final ep he starts to regain control and somehow be able save Ryan. I would rather it be like that all season, and have it teased a few times that Butcher may be able to regain control over himself.

I just hope they don't do the same as the comics. They have been really good at adapting the comics so far, so I still have hope, but I think it would be a mistake to end it the same way as in the comics.

Understandable. Like you said yourself, they've done a great job of adapting so far. I don't personally see them falling at the last hurdle.
