When I started watching the show, I felt like Homelander had a familiar face. Imagine my surprise when I realized that Homelander was played by Lucas Hood from Banshee aka Anthony Starr. Anthony Starr nailed his role as Homelander. He played the evil Superman side of Homelander so damn perfectly!

This show is great! You will not be ready for what you see. The characters are complex and very flawed no one is pure. The characters all have clear motivations that make them all feel very human. This show doesn’t pull punches, it goes to some deep dark places. There’s some laugh out loud dark humor moments. This season sets up the next season almost perfectly. If I had one complaint the first couple of episodes might make you scratch your head because I was thinking to myself where is all this crazy stuff going? It pays off big time!
