My guess is the 2025 Carrera S will have an upgraded ‘25 Carrera 3.0L motor with both PDK and 6spd manual. I don’t think the CS will hurt CT sales since the CT is geared to more purist drivers and won’t offer all the bells and whistles the C offers. The CS will likely be more expensive than the CT, as well.

I am sure the Carrera S is being worked on. I think they will use the 3.6L engine with existing turbo chargers so that they can make a manual transmission.

Makes sense that the S will be a manual and non turbo as t hybrid will only work with a pdk box. We shall see

I have a 2024 manual S arriving this month. I was hoping it would be the last manual as the value would increase significantly.

Have been watching your videos for over a year, and have to say, was disappointing that it took over 6 mins into an over 8 min video to get to even the 1st bit of new info or analysis that addresses the video title. Too much B-roll filler and sponsorship messages preceding. And really no new info at all. A few weeks ago you railed against AI-created car videos, but honestly, this one felt like it could have been that as it spent so much time regurgitating old info and press-release B-roll, etc.

Accept it. All future 911's will become hybrids, certainly by the time successor to the 992.2 is launched. Heavy? Is 50 kg really a huge extra weight increase for a contemporary 911. Altogether too much pinning for 911's of 20 years ago.

With everything that is being done by the factory and the market, I'm seriously considering a different marque. I've been a 30-year PCA member, but I think that time is done and I'm very sad about it.

Why it's not powertrained by the newly developed 3.6 NA engine, which has better fuel economy and better emissions!!, there is a room for that to be perfectly spotted for the carrera S

I thought this was done during the release of 992.1 Carrera S in 2020 which was the beginning of Covid, but I could be wrong.
