911 and LC500 are my all time favorites, I watched pretty much all 992 videos on KZbin, because I want it so bad, I have LC500 in my garage, I will get the 992 in the next few years, they are the reason why I work hard, it’s so beautiful, I like your review

In addition to the 9 extra HP, my understanding is that the upgraded turbos and intercooler have allowed Porsche to improve the torque curve so that 221 lb/ft is available at just 1500 RPM and the full 331 lb/ft is on tap from 2000 to 5000 RPM. This, rather than the small HP increase, is probably more responsible for what you perceived to be a slight improvement in seat of the pants acceleration. Thanks for the review.

You're 100% correct with the torque curve. I had totally forgotten about that

Also, the GTS turbos and the intercooler from the Turbo should make for some very easy big gain with just a tune.

I drove the 992.2 base and at slow speeds the steering wheel made me feel I was driving a Toyota Corolla. How would you compare the tactile feel with the steering compared to the 992.1? I am afraid refined = dull in the true sports car sense.

No concern. It's still feels like a sports car and the same in terms of sportiness compared to the .1
