The Brand New Sunderland Station - Is It Any Good?

After a good month of debating and adjusting I've finally created a whole new style of video that has never been seen before on KH Transport and I'm so glad to have finally done it.
In this new style of video, we explore Sunderland Station, what's new, the pros and cons of it and to ponder the question of is it any good?
(p.s this may spark another video idea at some point in future 👀)

nice review of it! thought 6/10 was pretty fair. looks like it'll do the job but depressing that they've clearly cheaped out on some of the aesthetic aspects. hopefully they'll bring some plants into the concourse when it's done to brighten it up a bit. and maybe jet wash those platforms!

Ohhh yes, would add some decoration to the concourse and yes it would be great to have a clean of the platforms

I'm a little bit confused as to why the staircases are boxed in, like I dunno, like a car park perhaps. It's all open and airy upstairs and then it looks like they've gone out of their way to make it as unfriendly and unwelcoming as they can down on the filthy platforms. I think that you should count yourselves lucky that there's a ticket office at all, given the current corporate hatred of them!

yeah the staircases looked like the grimmest bit of the video I think. reminded me of the old Luton Airport Parkway station a bit@@JP_TaVeryMuch

Platforms look like a dark depressing London underground station 😂

@@JayJourneys_1 I mean I suppose there's so much you can do with an underground station but It needs a clean up and redo

I did ask that on the second day of opening to staff and sadly there is not

Didn’t Sunderland use to have white panels on the platform ceilings?

It most certainly did! Looked far much better then with them but unfortunately If I remember correctly unfortunately they removed them due to Drainage issues or so
