It's worth running multiple times :) I'm on my third run (though the first ended at ep 400 and the second at 800 at that time). Now I'm kinda up-to-date. I'm just out of the last two month or so. I always watch in batches :)

The East Blue Saga (which most of the LA covered) is just a prologue lol. Just like what Mihawk said to Zoro, "You're like a little frog croaking in a well.", the East Blue is literally the well and the frogs inside doesnt know how big the world outside of the well

Just wanted to say I've watched numerous first time One Piece reactors (understatement), and based on your reactions to the live action, if you choose to watch the anime I would genuinely love to watch your reactions, as I'm sure many others would as well! I think your personality and editing is criminally underrated, and with how much I've seen other new reactors blow up with One Piece (with less than half the effort) I have no doubt you'll make it big. I'm rooting for you! If you choose to start the anime, avoid googling/ spoilers (your detail oriented style will reward you in spades), pace yourself (its a long journey) and most importantly have fun and enjoy the ride! You can only experience (imo) the greatest story of our generation for the first time once! I look forward to future uploads Nakama! :)

Warning to tell about that mysterious dancing woman- she shows up roughly 700 episodes in of the anime, and there’s very little chance that Netflix will ever get that far with the live action. However, if you don’t want to watch the original anime or read the manga (which is honestly the best way to consume the story), there’s going to be a rebooted anime series drawn by a different animation studio that will condense the story quite a bit compared to the original and it’s supposed to come out sometime this year or next. It’s called The One Piece. There’s also a fan edit of the original series called One Pace that removes the filler and it’s also worth looking into if you want to dig into the story as quickly as possible. There are a lot of options, but the least reliable is the live action since it takes a lot of liberties and probably won’t survive the Netflix axe to ever finish. By that point you’ll be so invested in the story and will need to go to a different source for it, so why not just start that now and then compare how the live action lives up to the original genius of Oda-sensei’s magnum opus? You absolutely won’t be disappointed.

That "Flying Creature" you saw was actually the Straw Hat's SECOND (and probably last) ship after they replaced the Going Merry. It's called the "Thousand Sunny". I won't spoil everything but basically the Going Merry isn't built for the grand line so they end up eventually getting one that is. EDIT: They DO use it in the Grand Line for a while while it lasts, though.

Hey man, just a heads up for if you end up watching the anime/manga. Garp and Koby's role in the live action is HEAVILY exaggerated. Aside from recruiting Zoro, Koby's presence in the story falls short until later on, and Garps family relation to Luffy isn't even brought up in the original series for at least 300+ episodes. 😅 Despite all that, these two characters are goated. Try not to raise your expectations for them showing up early, is all I'm saying. 😂 Hope you enjoy the series. 🙏
