It's easy for everybody to criticise May from the comfort of their homes but you try getting most of the things brexit voters want without the EU completely fucking you over economically. Its virtually impossible on a short term basis. Also don't be so quick to believe all of Mogg's rhetoric of us having the obvious upper hand in negotiations, it's not that bloody simple! If it was, we'd have got somewhere with a deal. I promise you May is not that useless. No deal, what would be the fallout on a "socio-political" level if the decision of the majority in the largest electoral turnout in the history of the oldest parliament in the world be ignored by those whos position is to represent and implement the will of the people? Whatever your position on Brexit, this is becoming more and more like Ireland and the Netherlands when they voted against the Lisbon treaty. If the will of 17.3million people is ignored, I would imagine the new political party created from such an outrage will be something that hasn't even been considered by MP's trying to impose "what they think" rather than implenting the decision by those who give them power. Edit - I say this based not only on my following of the Brexit process but the direct email response to my questions from my own constituency MP after the Prime Minister commended her deal to the House.
