Nic Claxton really helped this team regain it's momentum when they were on a little down spell. He was locked in playoff mode 🔥 during this second half and overall had a very complete year making both strides in offense and especially defense....

Clax is going to have his hands full, but understanding that no one can stop Embid, he needs to just compete strongly, stay out of foul trouble, and stay focused. Again, Embid is a monster. Just maintain and get his when the opportunity presents itself.

@@vanessagrayman2194 "try" is the keyword.. But Embeid is a top 5 Allstar in today's game. Claxton just needs to make it much less easy for Joel Embeid. Easily said than done but Nick is up for the biggest task this season. 👍🏼

Gotta say I know this team isn't a championship contender but I've been liking the new look nets. Hard nosed defensive culture is the building block to ever championship team, and having that is an important first step. We still have young guys, draft picks and trades to make the next few years, and I think the nets can build and find themselves in contention once again in the next 5 years.

Brooklyn came out of this rebuild better then they were during the superstar era. They now have a lot of draft picks a 18 million trade exception and movable contracts to make a big move down the line....

I want to advise nurturing this team's future over this particular playoff. Yeah play well, out play, out maneuver, out run, OUT THINK whenever possible, but DON'T risk your bodies. Coaches and players plz during this week before playoffs, at least discuss what NOT to do, how to be safer around their bulky bully boys. I know hesitation can mess up a play, but ok fine. Better to mess up a play than risk a body. Sounds parental, ok, I'll own that. The future, the next couple/few seasons just too bright to not protect. Which leads to my next point on what to do in this break and coming off season. I don't contemplate trades etc... not my jam. I think about what we've got to work with and leave that to others who know more about that stuff. So: adjacent and supportive muscles... Ryan Forehan-Kelly smartly mentioned this on his work with Nic. I encourage more development of auxiliary muscles, ones dancers (the athletes that use them the best/most) develop from the git go with their training. They can really help prevent injury and provide alternative swerves and landing balance. There are many ways these lesser known lesser developed muscles can improve and support a basketball players overall stability and versatility. In that split second of unusual landing or movement, they make all the difference. This team has a great future worthy of intelligent development. Just my two cents.

This team has amazing potential. At the current moment (while they have potential to) I don't think they will win the NBA championship, but if these guys continue to gel and hopefully they all sign extensions and this culture continues to grow, we will have the all around best team in the league. The first step to achieving this is releasing Ben Simmons or buying out his contract and attracting a gritty superstar or many great players in free agency to fill Ben's massive undeserved contract cap.

It’s so refreshing to see this new-look team thrive. They have a sense of camaraderie that’s quickly developed. It’s almost reminiscent of the 2018-19 squad. The best part of supporting this team as a REAL Nets fan is to no longer get updates from non-hoops related headlines: those Kyrie/KD fanboys who masqueraded themselves as Nets fans are long gone. Good riddance to those “fans”.

12:59 I get it we all love a David & Goliath story but Doris is capping so hard. I watch every Sixers game and I recall Nic started this "trash talking" thing in their second or 3rd game of this season and one of em got a tech I think, He said something so disrepectful Embiid didn't even want to repeat it in the postgame interview. Hell even in one of the clips in this video you see Nic taunting Giannis. I love the hype, Can't wait for Saturday. This series solely depends on Embiid.
